The sham House January 6 Committee changed its anticipated schedule of “high-impact hearings” amid a series of maneuvers by potential witnesses and Steve Bannon’s indication he is willing to testify on his own terms.
According to The Daily Mail the panel had planned to hold a Thursday hearing in prime time that would be its second televised evening event.
But that all changed when Steve Bannon announced over the weekend that he would testify live and in person before the committee.
The sham committee of Never Trump politicians have no interest in reporting the truth. And they know they can’t control Steve Bannon.
Ths sham committee must be worrried that Steve Bannon will bring up The Gateway Pundit’s explosive reporting from earlier today on the FBI operative inside the Proud Boys organization.
The Gateway Pundit released whistleblower documents, text messages and trandscripts that show the FBI KNEW the Proud Boys were innocent — yet persecuted them anyway.

Maybe they are putting off Bannon’s testimony until after his trial next week. He may be carted off to prison. The judge, a Trump appointee, will not allow Bannon to defend himself. He must only raise his throat for the blade.

If Bannon appeared virtually on Zoom, they could mute him or cut his feed (claim technical "glitch") if he strayed into forbidden territory.
If he wasn't live, it would essentially be a deposition where they would deceptively edit the testimony for prime time viewing (like Katie Couric did with the gun rights advocacy panel who had their own recordings).

They want to be able to “leak” their narrative to the MSM of what Bannon says, the narrative would be misleading or an outright lie. If Bannon is live on TV much harder to do. It’s taken me some time but I’m beginning to learn how this game is played.
This one is interesting, though. I do not know to what length Bannon could have gotten questions concerning FBI participation into the record before being silenced by the Chair in the complete absence of defense cross-examination. (There isn't, actually, a defense at all, no discovery, nothing remotely resembling an honest trial. It's a fake.) If that story does have legs and the evidence is able to be corroborated, they might be left with the options of admitting it or shutting the hearings down altogether. Not the desired effect.
