Trump in 2024? Bet on It!
americangreatness ^ | 7/8/2022 | Ned Ryun

After another two years of the current disaster, people will be begging for someone to get things back to normal, and that someone will be Donald Trump.

We're going to get a massive red wave this fall. The 2021 results in Virginia, out of control inflation, Joe Biden’s dismal approval ratings in recent polls (for perspective, Obama’s approval rating was 44.7 percent in October 2010, just before the midterm mauling Democrats got that year), soaring gas prices, and a porous southern border indicate that even places Biden won by 20 points in 2020 are in play this fall.

Perhaps that sounds crazy at first, but it shouldn’t. Democrats are already spending millions to defend incumbent senators in states like Washington and Colorado—states Biden won by 19 and 14 points, respectively. Why? Because they’re seeing the same dynamics I am. I’ll be very surprised if on the low end Republicans don’t pick up 40 seats in the House and three or four Senate seats. On the high end? Depends on how badly Grandpa Dementia’s administration implodes over the next four months or so. Looking at the current trajectory, we haven’t seen the bottom yet.

We’re still months away from the November midterms—which will be devastating for Democrats at the state and local levels, too—and we’re already seeing people looking ahead to the presidential election in 2024 and more specifically who is going to run and represent the Republican party.

We should start with the fact that Donald Trump is going to run again. He’s 114-10 in his endorsements so far in 2022, in great health, raising significant amounts of money and will no doubt announce by January 2023, if not before (I suspect in November, post-midterms). Other names are being tossed about: Mike Pence, Kristi Noem, Nikki Haley, random names from the phone book . . . essentially an assortment of political pygmies. None of them stand a snowball’s chance in hell against Trump.

Can I place my bet on Trump with Paddy Power now? They paid off bets early that were placed on Hillary in 2016, and lost millions.

Of course Trump is running, and should run.

DeSantis has no intention of challenging Trump. He’s far too smart for that.

The lefties fear Trump like no other. Trump has a massive, intense base. I live in flyover country and the Trump flags still fly. No one else is even close to that level of support. The only recent politician who compares is Obama, because of his historic nature.

I do kind of hope Trump waits until after the midterms to announce. The Dems would love to run “against” Trump in the midterms, and it would be nice to not give them that chance.

On the other hand, they’re trying to run against him already so making it formal probably doesn’t change things much.

The media will go apoplectic if he runs again - way too much fun to watch them melt.

If the state legislatures of PA, GA, AZ, WI, and MI are still controlled by the same RINO traitors who handed the Steal on a platter to the Vegetable, then 2024 will be a repeat of 2020.

RINOs would rather have a Democrat win than have 'their' party taken over by MAGA.

I just pray to God that enough RINOs in the state legislatures are being purged and replaced with MAGA this summer in the primaries. This is only way we get our country back.

Why can’t Trump and DeSantis work together?

I don’t, just that so many FReepers seem intent on opposing them one to the other.

If DeSantis really has future POTUS aspirations (2028 and beyond), he better get on the Trump train NOW and affirmatively state that he’s not running in 2024 and will enthusiastically support PDJT in 2024.

He’ll announce next year. Everyone is just saving their money to send money to him by that time and timing is everything.

Why put your name out there before the midterms for the MSM to target when he engineered by name alone more than 100 wins from the sidelines, just this special elections?

I think that’s the best idea. We in Florida LOVE him, and I think I’d like another 4 years with him as Governor — and then have him as president.
