I’ve had local cops run my plate (Veteran on a Black 2015 Taurus) and stay on my driver side rear quarter and pace me, speed limit being 40 mph for a couple of miles . He must of had a boring day.
I had a cop pull me over in Raymond washington about 35 years ago in my old Subaru DL. I was paranoid about small town cops and, sure enough, he tried to get me for going 55 in a 45 and it was totally bogus. But he decided to drop it because I think I sort of intimidated him as follows: I proceeded to call out the speed limit in every part of my route through town including each point at which the speed changed.
Fact is, my eyes were stuck like glue to my speedometer all the way through town. I knew the pullover was baloney, and it became clear to him that I KNEW it.
