The Biden regime is set to prolong the Covid-19 public health emergency once again as reported by POLITICO.
According to three sources familiar with the situation, the government measures enhancing access to health coverage, vaccines, and treatments will be extended by the Biden regime beyond the midterm elections.
With the proposed extension, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) would keep the mandate in effect until the November midterm elections and possibly into early 2023.

The Democrats (and some Republicans) LOVE having a never-ending state of emergency.
There is no emergency. Nobody’s sick enough to go into the hospital, let alone die from this illness.
We were at “Art in the Park” yesterday in Coeur d’Alene. It’s a huge outdoor invited and refereed art festival with food and music. We probably saw a couple thousand people and TWO masks. One was on a vendor selling gorgeous hand-crafted skillets.
The massive testing should have ended in June 2020 when the numbers of hospitalizations and deaths started going down. There was a pandemic during the Obama administration. When the numbers started going down in the summer, he issued an executive order to stop the massive testing.
The global Covid daily death count is rising. The US Covid daily death count is presently higher than it was this week last year.
Whatever measures were authorized last year at this point in time, with an elderly population at that time having more recent immunity from vax or recovery than it has now, would certainly seem appropriate. How could it not be?
There is no death surge yet. Delta arrived in August last year and killed about 2400/day at its September peak. The daily death count declined from that level and bottomed at about 1200/day when it surged into Omicron up to 3500/day.
Russia’s death curve was similar in shape but shifted a few months earlier. The UK death curves looked very much different, and lower. Italy was US similar and are presently seeing a surge that the US is not, at least not yet. US timing remains a few weeks early with the current rise more shallow than late Aug last year.
we dont even know the real covid death count
until they separate the “with” and “from” deaths
didnt wallensky say they were working on that
we should know in 50 years or so
We were down to virtually no masks, now a few are wearing them again. Nobody bothers them, it is assumed they have some underlying condition. Most are either young or elderly. Middle aged people don’t seem to wear them.
The Coeur d’Alene area is beautiful. We just spent almost a week in Athol.
Over 50% of people I see in stores(but not staff) are still wearing their trusty fashion masks
already been done. Wallensky has nothing to say about Russia’s numbers. Or Italy’s.
“it is assumed they have some underlying condition”
Yep, that’s my belief, too. Or deep underlying insecurity and lack of information. Either way, who cares? It’s their body, their choice.
It is, isn’t it?
The Art in the Park setting is gorgeous on the college campus by the lake.
Okay, post BOTH sets, for last year and this year. Clearly labeled as "these people died FROM covid without significant co-morbidities" vs. "these people died WITH covid and had significant co-morbidities which were the cause of death".
Otherwise your death numbers are not very useful in determining how bad things are, especially compared to last year. Correct?
When we were visiting my grandparents in Hayden around 1967, my dad took me up to the Henley Aerodrome in Athol. The owner had an acrobatic biplane and dad bought me a ride in it. I was 16 at the time and it was freaking awesome! We didn't do any loops, but a couple of barrel rolls and other maneuvers was plenty for me.
It eventually got turned into the Silverwood Park.
In 1981 the Henley Aerodrome airport was purchased by Gary Norton, founder of Spokane’s ISC Systems Corporation. Described as “An avid pilot with a passion for vintage aircraft,” Norton sought his own airstrip & a place to store his growing collection of classic planes. In 1986, after successfully outbidding Disney & others for an original 1915 Steam Engine Train, Norton began thinking of his property as more than his own personal playground. He imagined a transportation-inspired museum & theme park where people could see & appreciate all kinds of rare planes, trains, and automobiles. As the theme park was being built, Norton changed the name to Silverwood in order to broaden the park’s appeal & pay homage to the region’s mining history.
Well this makes me think Biden getting covid and then having a 7 day rebound was all just made up bs.
It has always been over done and already addressed, largely internationally. I was referring to international.
There is a bizarre desire to believe that 1.8 years of reduced life expectancy didn’t really happen, when the deaths are obvious, adjusted for fentanyl, and only started in 2020, for many months prior to restrictions.
What a coincidence! Especially since the death counts rose in other countries. But FR somehow believes people die in Italy because of US elections.
The only time I even hear about covid is when I see threads here. It’s ancient history around here.
You don’t know the person. It’s really that simple
It isn’t in your face in Pennsylvania in the Valley Forge area now. You have to go on the internet or maybe TV to hear about it. Kids don’t have to wear in school now. People play sports in the park without them.
