Good post on Trump acting to protect himself.
Remember that female Secret Service agent Kerry O’Grady assigned to protect him who said she had different politics and hated him and I will not take a bullet for him.
Her “big” punishment was to be off the presidential detail but kept her job elsewhere.
So many younger people today think only their views count and they have a “right” to enforce that and to disobey any laws (Antifa, BLM, CHOP Zone in city, blocking freeway exits....).

It already is time. I suppose we’re close enough to the 2022 election to wait and see if a miracle happens there, but 2020 and the complete refusal by anyone to do anything about it, combined with the now total corruption of federal law enforcement sends a clear signal to the armies of leftist vote cheaters to go full speed ahead in the midterms. Why shouldn’t they? They know it’s virtually risk-free.
So the two likely possibilities are that they cheat on an even larger scale and thwart the will of the people again, or they get overwhelmed by the red wave, but then the new Republican Congress gets neutered by its own establishment leadership and/or the puppet masters running the Biden regime just rule by fiat like they’ve already been doing. Regardless of which way it goes, it is crystal clear that the woke, globalist left and the globalist, anti-MAGA Republican establishment will never again relinquish power unless physically forced to.
They’re insufferably foolish, fretting over bad manners while the country is burning to the ground. They would have advised against nuking Imperial Japan because of their concerns that doing so would make other countries mad at us. But now, as then, there comes a time when nothing short of a nuke will get the job done, and Trump is precisely the 10 megaton warhead that we need.

The backstory on that is the RNC was raising money using Trump's name without permission. They came to a compromise that if he let them use his name, they would pay his legal fees.
Bet they'd still keep using his name for fundraising.
The left is obsessed with stopping Trump. They will stop at nothing. They have no principles. The left has had other people killed. They would love to do just that.

Kerik is right. Actually, I’m surprised that hasn’t happened already. It would take much less time and effort to pull off an assassination.
The reason for this raid wasn’t to target Trump, but to send a message to all of US.
The liberals fail to understand that operating in Banana Republic mode that assassinations are common in Banana Republics.
Look what has happened so far. I didn't think Obama or Biden would ever be elected, and I thought surely someone would put together a team of operators and go free the January 6th political prisoners. I also thought that the Clinton's would be in prison or dead by now, and that my asshole governor would tell the fed to kiss ass and lock down our southern border, and dare the fed to come down here and do something about it. I especially thought Ashley Babbit's veteran widower would go hunt down the scum that murdered his wife, nail him to a tree, and skin him alive.
So, you don't think they would eliminate Trump from the gene pool?
We have fought wars over much less. It's past time.
It seems pretty obvious that just having guns doesn't mean you will use them. That time has long past in my opinion.
