Yeah, that’s a not too subtle way of avoiding substantive discussion.

Here’s my take.

George Bush talked most of us FReepers into supporting the attack on Iraq. He even went to the UN and got approval, becuase of WMDs in Saddams control. The CIA director at the time, George Tenent, said it was a slam dunk. Colin Powell briefed the UN with photos showing Iraqi trucks with Russian advisors packing up the WMDs and taking them to Syria.

We went in. We didn’t find them. After a while, it became apparent that Hussien was keeping the lid on both kinds of Muslim fanatics—the Sunni kind that went from Al Qeada to ISIS, and the Shi’a kind that went from Iran to Hammas and Hezbollah.

In hindsight, we never should have done it. Big mistake.

I see clearly now since then.

Putin has now done the same as us but in Ukraine. The invasion was as wrong as ours. However, he didn’t play the UN game and get “approval” or even have a good reason, except he wanted it.

And no, the threat from a Ukraine joining NATO is as bogus a reason for war as WMD were. Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, all bordering Russia, already were in NATO. In fact, Latvia doesn’t even have an Air Force, so NATO members take turns flying air patrol for them, right along the border.

For that reason, I think Russia was/is wrong to invade. What is their goal now? They’ve physically taken the Donbass, which they claim they were defending.

But all this is a diversion.

Ukraine isn’t as strong as Russia by far, so the advantage goes to the Russians.

We ALL believe propaganda—we find it where we look for it.

We all want to believe something is true—we find it where we look for it.

Both sides seem equal in it to me.

The argument to stay out of this civil war was won long ago. The rest from the globalist Sorosbots is just spam and personal attacks. Take a look at their postings for proof of that.

To answer your question about how many shells has the Pentagon given Ukraine:

“As of Aug. 24, the U.S. military said it had provided Ukraine with up to 806,000 rounds of 155mm ammunition.”<-Ukraine War Is Depleting U.S. Ammunition Stockpiles, Sparking Pentagon Concern

I don’t have the link so you’ll have to search for it.

“Do those howitzers have a 1,000 round Barrel life?”

2,500, is more typical, then it gets inspected, and extended a few hundred rounds more between inspections, until it fails inspection (maybe 4,000).
