Ukrainian troops in the course of attempts to resume the offensive in Mykolaiv-Kryvyi Rih and other directions Lost for two days 1.7 thousand people, reported on Wednesday in the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
“For two days of unsuccessful attacks on Mykolaiv-Kryvyi Rih and other directions, Ukrainian troops lost four combat aircraft - two Su-25one Su-24 and one MiG-29. Three Ukrainian helicopters shot down in mid-air Mi-8. Russian troops destroyed 63 Ukrainian tanks, 59 infantry fighting vehicles, 48 other armored fighting vehicles, 14 pickups with large-caliber machine guns and more than 1,700 Ukrainian servicemen,” the ministry said.

I thought about that also. It may put them in a pincer situation. However I believe the Uke’s have @ 3 to 1 manpower advantage as they are on a full war footing as opposed to the Russians. So I believe they can probably protect their flanks. We shall see.
