RCMP are still looking for the suspects, with alerts now covering three provinces
Melfort RCMP are searching for two men after for multiple stabbings on James Smith Cree Nation on Sunday morning, and a shelter in place order has been issued for the community.
Saskatchewan RCMP say 10 people are dead and at least 15 injured after multiple stabbings in the province on Sunday morning, and two suspects are still on the loose.
At a press conference on Sunday afternoon in Regina, the Assistant Commissioner Rhonda Blackmore, Commanding Officer of Saskatchewan RCMP,said police were working with 13 crime scenes and there may be more victims. The stabbings were thought to be both targeted and random, she said.

This is strange. I can’t make heads or tails— they went to several locations stabbing/killing people? Strange.
No one needs a butcher or a chef knife. You can cut that meat with a spork, for God’s sake.
That means there were specific targets as well as attacks on random people.

What is it with the name Damien...that is like setting your kid up for failure.
More gun control would have certainly avoided this!!!

I was reminded of a killing spree (3 dead) situation in Canada back in 2019. The guys were 18 & 19. They were able to get guns & that is what they used. There was a huge manhunt for them & they were eventually found deceased - suicide pact. They think one shot the other, then killed himself.
I’m wondering if the current situation is a copy cat, just using knives since guns have been tightened up by Trudie. Of course, the current guys killed more with knives than the 2019 killers did with their guns. People will always find ways to kill each other, whether they have access to guns or not – a fact that the gun grabbers don’t seem to grasp.

I just saw the ages ... 30 & 31, so a good bit older than the teens in 2019.
