I am really enjoying the frothing of the mouths of liberals today on Twitter. They are losing their minds over the Special Master ruling
U.S. District Judge from the Southern District of Florida Judge Aileen M. Cannon ordered that the special master be appointed to "review the seized property, manage assertions of privilege and make recommendations thereon, and evaluate claims for return of property."They have let loose a torrent of outrage:
I expressed no opinion about whether the District Court judge would deny the Special Master request because I knew who she was. However, I now express my opinion that the appellate court will reverse because, no matter who appointed them, they won’t sign on to that drivel.

In the likely event the Department of Justice decides to appeal, I cannot imagine that Judge Cannon’s ruling will be upheld by the 11th Circuit.

The judge didn't have jurisdiction. And Trump doesn't have standing, because the feds took property that was THEIRS, not his.

Cannon uses existence of a small number of personal items found in search (and properly seized pursuant to warrant) to find standing to review ALL docs including vast majority that are STOLEN.

I kept an open mind. I really did. But reading Judge Cannon’s ruling left my jaw on the floor in its absurdity. Unless the federalist society wants to argue that this precedent would only apply to trump, this ruling would demolish future white collar criminal investigations…

But weren't all the formerly classified documents DEclassified by Trump while he was president, and therefore it wouldn't matter if a 5 year old's scribbles were on the folders? Still no reason to confiscate documents or even be on Trump's property. Jellybrain Joe grasping at straws to justify his gross violation of the Constitution and a gazillion laws.
It pains me to say this, but I don’t see how we can ever coexist with the left going forward. They’re too far gone and venomous in thought and heart. How does society and a government/nation function on even basic levels with such delusion and contempt?
People at all levels of government working behind the scenes, willing to break laws, to undermine and crush the opposition (sitting Presidents even), and steal elections. They fight like this is an asymmetrical war to seize control of a foreign nation.
IDK, maybe politics has always been this bad behind the scenes, thinking back on Kennedy and earlier events? It feels like it’s accelerating at all levels of society and government.

The left are clearly are deranged. I am at least happy to see that the court has apparently dismissed their conflicted Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhardt, who they are trying to make invisible now.
What has become common is outright and obvious bias and warped reasoning attached to it that they actually expect to get by with.
It IS war, and one would be silly at this point NOT to count the MRNA shot.
One result of the left’s various charges at Trump these past years is loss of legal/political cash. Not dollars, but confidence that they can be trusted to be ethical and on the actual side of statutory law.
The Russia/dossier attack. Bad loss. Muller was a vegetable and there was nothing there.
The SDNY financial attack. Quiet loss. They got Trump’s CFO for not reporting job perks, but nothing on Trump.
NY AG ongoing deposition and fishing attempts. Eventual loss. There’s nothing there.
The Ukrainian phone call. Eventual loss. Shif will be censured and lose all committee assignments. Three words: Chairman Jim Jordan.
The J6 probe. Loss with a trout across the face in contempt. There was nothing, the Rino’s got swept, and Trump is stronger. A few credulous individuals got ground up in the legal system for entering the building, which is awful, but nothing on Trump.
The Mar a Lago raid. Big loss. Desperate move by the surveillance community, approved by Joe himself, and they took a ton of stuff that was personal, not classified. Plus the optics. Now the judge has stopped them, and getting momentum back in an election cycle is maybe a 10000 to one gamble.
They have spent most of their good will and public trust. The barrage of incoming jokes and memes is increasing, and Merrick is where?
If Trump wins the Mar a Lago case, and the House goes red, DOJ will have little to no traction for another attack. They have spent their cash.
I wouldn’t be surprised if there was an attack, or attempted attack on Judge Cannon. Either an FBI employee, or one of their “assets” will do the dirty work. They’ll blame it on the Judge’s, or Trump’s “attempts to incite.” I put nothing past these cretins. The DOJ is desperate.
They say they’re not going to prosecute Trump, at least until after the election, because of some policy of DOJ prohibiting them from influencing elections.
The real reason is that they know doing so will hurt the Democrats politically.

They’re attempting to influence the election by saying they are going to wait until after the election to prosecute him to, you know, avoid influencing the election.
