Radical left-wing Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez says young Americans aren’t having children because of the “burdens of capitalism” and that therefore, the U.S. needs more immigrants.

And they are putting these people in charge of everything.

That is just mean! Wanting to subject those poor illegals to the “burden of capitalism”!
That is almost as bad as GWB’s ‘jobs Americans won’t do’.

No one in the US is against legal immigration. Legal immigration is good for the country.
But Congress uses immigration as a bludgeon to raise money. This crap should have been solved 20 years ago. Whenever a President uses EOs to do anything…you can look at that as a failure of Congress.
If we “need” to raise our legal immigration targets, that’s cool. Pass a law. Fund it.
Congress is a flaccid organization. And AOC simply makes it more so.
Can she honestly be as stupid as the things she says indicates? Does she really believe it? If capitalism is so bad, why are people risking life and limb to get in here, and very few, if any, are migrating to a socialistic country? I think two years for her to live in Venezuela would be a good education for her, as she sure as hell didn’t learn anything at Boston University. Personally, I think she’s that dumb, and BU should take her degree back and give it to whomever it was who took the tests in her stead.
