In my opinion, her Asperger’s Syndrome causes her, to have a monomaniacal focus on an issue, to the exclusion of all other considerations. And that is a major weakness in any human being.
If, for sake of argument, one wants to say that people all over the world will be hurt by global warming, we also need to discuss how the policies of Greta, if implemented, would cause world wide dislocations in the economy, in energy distribution, and food production, among others.
Arguably, more would be hurt more deeply, if the policies of Greta were implemented, than would be hurt if we don’t adhere to her demands. But then again, the likes of Greta and Al Gore, tell us the “debate is over”, and it offends their sensibilities to even consider that there are other considerations besides their one-sided views.
So world ecological policy is being driven by an unstable, mentally ill teenage girl

Lack of self-awareness is but one of a number of traits of those afflicted with Asperger’s syndrome. Another is the apparent capability of associating many seemingly unrelated facts, and making up a whole narrative that appears so seamlessly logical that not much of anything new will ever be included in that body of seamless logic.
Outside influences have little control in how this narrative is arrived at, and the afflicted individual is absolutely and steadfastly bound to this vision of the world. Truly a separate universe with a population of one.
And what else should others understand about this apparent isolation? That the afflicted individual LIKES the isolation, and has little inclination to join the rest of the human race.
