Manchin always was a snake. I kept posting that in reply to everyone who said “God Bless him,” when he was all talk about holding out on the trillion $ spending bill. He was only holding out to get a deal for himself.

No, he’s a Democrat. What the hell does he owe our side? If we wanted a reliable vote, perhaps the 500,000 Trump voters who sat out the Georgia Runoffs in 2020 should have voted then...rather than let the Democrats win (you know, to teach the GOP a lesson).
Then he never did get the deal...they gave him the purple shaft for his efforts.
