The DeSantis lovers mirror the Cruz nuts of 2016. They tend to be blindly shallow and lousy armchair quarterbacks. They latch onto any ‘article’ praising DeSantis and trashing Trump without utilizing any nuance. Their hypocrisy almost mirrors democrats to maintain their obstinance. It would be comical if it weren’t so corrosive.
Few here bothered to read the politico article. And if they did, they don’t care that the man backing DeSantis does not support populism or the ‘far right’.
As for DeSantis, he is doing a great job but he does not have the courage Trump has. Courage is continuing to fight when everyone is against you. If DeSantis had that courage he would stop illegals from entering Florida one way or another. Sending 50 to Martha’s Vineyard did not solve the problem. More importantly, it did not help Floridians. It was a stunt.
Both Trump and DeSantis have done great things but only Trump has the courage to take on the world.
Lesson here: think beyond the obvious and remember that the MAJORITY of current republican politicians are democrats and ALWAYS do what their big corporate donors want. Trump will never have that noose around his neck. Trump has done more to help politicians get elected than any other politician including DeSantis. Trump redefined the party. If DeSantis cared about the republican voters, he would state his plans for 2024 to stop the nonsense dividing the party. Only he profits from this reasoning, not the voters. That is self serving if nothing else.
Lastly, pearl clutchers are only good at ‘bending the knee’. Ditch the pearls and focus on the important stuff.
