The results are in for the Illinois Governor’s race and DDHQ has called it for Democrat J.B. Pritzker over Republican challenger Darren Bailey.
It was always going to be an uphill battle for Bailey, given Pritzker’s incumbency and huge financial advantage, plus the political realities of Illinois (read: Chicago). Still, in the closing days of the race, internal polling showed Bailey closing the gap to two points — within the four-point margin of error.
And it’s not unheard of for Illinois to elect a Republican Governor — Pritzker’s immediate predecessor was Republican Bruce Rauner. Of course, in 2018, Pritzker trounced Rauner by 15 points. We’ll have to wait a bit to see how close Bailey was able to make it.
In the Illinois Senate race, Tammy Duckworth has retained her seat handily, notching a 17-point win (with 78 percent of the vote in).
The fix was in.
And one more thing - in Illinois at least, abortion is a huge profitable industry. Almost 20% of the abortions in Illinois are done on women who are not Illinois residents. With other major businesses moving their headquarters out of the state, it's important to the dems to keep a money-maker in the state.
An hour ago, I checked the numbers. With 81% reporting, Pritzker had 1.7 million votes. He got 1.2 million of them from Cook County.
Illinois is so corrupt it’s not even funny.
corrupt elections just like in Brazil, except brazil can count all their votes in one evening.
And it’s not unheard of for Illinois to elect a Republican Governor — Pritzker’s immediate predecessor wasWhy did you omit that fact, Susie?RepublicanRINO Bruce Rauner …
I’m starting to think there is no fix, no steal. Speaking honestly...I think enough Batshit females have doomed us all. Look around and look at social media. They’ve gone all in....enough to destroy us all politically for many years perhaps permanently. I told you all...women plus social media equals the demise of all we’ve known.
polls showed a 20 point swing of women to Repubs. These women were voting Repub to protect their kids.
These elections were rigged. Completely. results not even close to any of the polls or signs preceding election. Does not compute at all with historical trends or state of economy etc. Completely rigged. We don’t have a country anymore.
Pritzker’s immediate predecessor was BABY KILLER Republican RINO Bruce Rauner
I do think you have a point.
If not for the batshit females, we could beat the margin of fraud, but they put scumbags over the top.
The insanity I have seen is extreme and there is absolutely no way to reason with them and, no matter how bad things go - there is no reaching them
The Hillary Clinton groupies are by far the worst.
Thanks for the additional details. History will illustrate the importance thereof.
maybe the fix isn’t in. Maybe the general populace really is this stupid.
No, the wrong candidate was in. When you can win the governorship and lose 99 out of the state’s 102 counties it’s just not going to work to nominate a MAGA conservative white guy. Rauner won because he had enough appeal to moderate democrats to peel away the Chicago vote, Bailey did not.
Illinois is just a big blue city only with a governor instead of a mayor - 75% of the state’s population lives in “the city” and the other 25% can’t out-vote them. It’s just the numbers.
Rauner won because he was a pseudo-Democrat, his wife was a Democrat, and they are very rich.
Buddy, plenty of batshit men too. There everywhere in Washington State.
Illinoisan here. Trust me, I didn’t vote for this sh¡t. It’s why I’m getting my CCW permit. I’m a stone’s throw from the Cook County border.
..which the self-appointed "Tea Party leaders" told us would be a non-issue when they were pimping his candidacy back in 2014... "the Governor can't do anything about abortion anyway"
Exhibit A why the "Tea Party" is no more.
The Democrats openly ran ads touting how "100% pro-life" those candidates were in the primary. They WANTED us to nominate bland white guys from rural downstate areas because they were well aware those candidates wouldn't have any appeal in the general election beyond people who always vote Republican. Foolish GOP primary voters gave the Democrats their wish.
We had some people with good conservative values in the general, but didn't have a CLUE how to connect with people in the Chicago area, and that's where 70% of Illinois' population is.
