A major disclosure in Delhi's 6-month-old murder case has been made. Boyfriend Aftab Amin Poonawalla murdered his live-in partner and girlfriend Shraddha, cut his body into 35 pieces, and disposed of them in different areas of Delhi for 18 days.
The police arrested the accused Aftab on Saturday. A year ago, Shraddha shifted from Mumbai to Delhi to be with Aftab. Shraddha, 26, was a resident of Malad, Mumbai. Here she used to work in the call center of a multinational company.
Shraddha and Aftab both worked in the call center. This is where both of them met. Both started loving, but the family members were unhappy with their relationship. Due to this both shifted from Mumbai to Delhi and started living in a flat in Mehrauli.
Additional DCP of South Delhi, Ankit Chauhan said, Aftab strangulated Shraddha to death after a quarrel on May 18. After this, he cut 35 pieces of his body and kept them in the fridge. The police said that he used to leave the house every night at 2 o'clock in the night and put the pieces in different areas of Delhi.
According to the police, Aftab used a saw to cut the body into pieces. He first cut his hands into three pieces. After this, the leg was also cut into three pieces. After this every day he would put them in a bag and take them to be thrown away.
After May 18, Shraddha stopped picking up the family's phone calls. This worried father Vikas Madan reached Delhi on November 8 to know about his daughter's condition. When they reached his house it was locked. He complained to the Mehrauli police and alleged that the daughter had been kidnapped.
On the complaint of the father, the police arrested Aftab on Saturday. During interrogation, he told that there used to be frequent quarrels between the two. She was pressurizing the marriage. So he got fed up and killed him. Now the police have started searching Shraddha's body after registering a murder case.

When she started leaving the house, me and my wife tried a lot to make her understand not to go live with Aftaab, but she did not listen to us. I wish she had. No one deserves a gruesome fate like my daughter did. I think it is a Love Jihad Angle and Aftaab should be hanged to death.
Shraddha's father further stated, "After the death of my wife, Shraddha had spoken to me on the phone a couple of times. She told me that Aftab hits and beats her. In fact, she had already told this to her mother when her mother was alive. I told her to leave Aftaab and come back home, but went to Aftab, yet again. After this, Shraddha's friends told me that nothing is good. She gets beaten up.

On 14th November, Laxman Nadar, a friend of Shraddha, told my son Shreejay Vikas Walker over the phone that Shraddha's phone has been switched off for the last almost two months. I also talked to her friend, and I was also told the same thing. He said that we used to keep talking but there has been no talk for the last two-and-a-half months.
Aftab Amin Poonawalla, accused of killing his 26-year-old live-in partner Shraddha Walker about 5 months ago and then missing the body, has been arrested by the police. Police have registered a case of murder against accused Aftab and the body of Shraddha is being searched.
The accused is 28 years old and is a resident of Mumbai. According to police sources, Aftab had killed Shraddha and cut her body into 35 pieces, and dumped it in different areas of Delhi. On November 8, 59-year-old Vikas Madan Walker lodged an FIR for the kidnapping of his daughter at the Mehrauli police station in Delhi.
As per Delhi Police, "Aftab dumped Shraddha's phone, her last location being traced so that it can be retrieved. Police are searching for the weapon used to chop her body into pieces. He used her Instagram account until June to give an impression of her being alive."

After he strangulated her. And, just to be on the safe side, he confessed to six times for the writer of the article, occasionally changing the names of the characters and gender of the victim.
Wiw, I have not heard that one in decades.. but it was pretty big when I was in high school.
I remember this one bass player who lived a couple of blocks over from me (who actually has a bit of a cult following from band he was in back in ‘72) but Vince rest in peace, got into lap steel because of this song and he was also was into Pink Floyd, which I never really was but I did take note of their releases.
