EXCERPT FROM DR. COHEN'S INTERVIEW:
I will explain ahead, how he caused the deaths of thousands.
He was against all Jews, but mainly against Jews among the Arabs, not necessarily specifically to Palestine.
He wanted to be the (Arabic: زَعيم / زاعِم), "Zaim," the fuhrer of the entire Arab world.
Soon after Hitler was elected, he approached the German consul, congratulating on Hitler's win and stated that the Arabs are against Democracy and declared alliance with him.
He gets aid from fascist Italy and Nazi Germany for his terror activities of 1936-9. He authored a hate booklet "Islam and the Jews," he also sent it to the Bosnians (later on) who hesitated to be recruited, he poisoned their minds with this propaganda.
After he escaped from the British via hiding in Al Aqsa then coming out disgusied as a "woman," (and you can't check a woman...), he tayed a bit in Lebanon then came to Iraq where he was welcomed.
Every student in Iraq was obliged to pay for the Mufti and his family.
He basically betrayed the country that took him in, Iraq. And plotted with Fritz Grobba -- Arabic speaking, orientalist, whom he got along with very well -- [Rachid al Kilani] and others the coup.
Imagine you take me into your house and what do I do? I plot against you, to take everything from you, even kill you. This is exactly what the Mufti did, he opened various organizations, received money for Palestine. His plan was Iraq only as a stopover. The Brits quelled the coup. He founded a secret pan Arab party, 'The Arab Nation,' charter included, no. 3, to expel all Jews of Arab land. Whether this means just expulsion or worse, we will see later...
Before the Mufti came to Germany, in April 1941 Nazis opened radio in Germany in Arabic, pro-Nazi, preaching that Islam and Nazism are equal and that Germany will defend the Muslims...
After a while in Iraq, the British chased after him, he left to Iran, Turkey.. Italy, there he met Mussolini [Oct 26], weeks later to Germany beginning Nov 1941 [6], seeking to meet with Hitler.
He thought Hitler will meet him right after, he did not. or maybe a reception of some sort, a "welcome" at the train station... He keeps begging to meet him.
After 2-3 weeks waiting in a hotel, day after day, they finally meet on Nov 28.
At the meeting, Hitler saw in him an asset, 'religious.' Because he had many problems with Muslims. As a religious rubber stamp, the Mufti told them: you have to, Islam and Nazism are the same.
But Hitler was mainly interested to get sympathy from the Arabs, to get control, power, in quest to dominate the world. He basically was the head of the Arabic propaganda for the Nazi regime.
Hitler gave an order, to open for the Mufti "The Arab Office." Palestine and Palestinian was not in use at the time. It was about 'Arabs.'
Students got bonuses to help him, he got a chauffer and guards.
He took to the Radio to get Arabs, agents for the Nazis, received a hefty salary, worked some 15 hrs a day, creating fliers, propaganda speeches almost daily on the radio, along the lines that Germany will win, we will chase out the Jews and the British. [And urged to kill Jews].
He admits in his Memoir that Himmler told him in the summer of 1943 that "we killed three million Jews."
Which means he knew of the Holocaust as it happened and Wisenthal Center stated that he visited with Eichman concentration camp.
He stayed about 4 years in Germany, he made contact with Alfred Rosenberg and with the Gestapo Department IV B4 for Jewish Affairs.
There are also pictures in the book that were never publicized, what else he did in Germany.
There were written request by him for the Italians to 'steal' the Jews of Libya, and not just in Libya, he attacks Egyptian Jews too,. At some time during the Holocaust, there was a deal, that 4,000 Jewish children were to come to Palestine. The Mufti went crazy and prevented it, he was directly responsible to their deaths.
He kept saying that Palestine is Arab and Jews can't go there.
After the war, he sought where to escape to, and chose France because they were the soft underbelly.
Per his memoir he got first class treatment The French feared he will get assassinated He tells them that if they hurt him, the Middle East will rise up you will have many problens... I'm your key in the M.E. and they believed him. And even gave him a fake ID.

The mufti who wanted to be the führer of the Arab world
More than seventy-five years have passed since the end of the Second World War, and apparently no one has sufficiently studied the archives of the Jerusalem Mufti Haj Amin Al-Husseini in the Arabic language, his speeches, the proclamations he wrote and his memoirs have not been translated into any language.
The documents that were brought from the Mufti book and the Jews describe to us the depth of the collaboration with the Nazis in regards to their propaganda directed at Arab countries. Little has been written about this Nazi propaganda.
For the first time, this book presents in detail the Mufti's efforts among the Arabs in order to present Germany in a positive light using a variety of methods: radio, press, cartoons, announcements, etc. Also presented in the book are the mufti's personal political ambitions, which focused first and foremost on the expulsion of the British and the Jews from Palestine and all Arab countries, the elimination of the Jewish National Home and the establishment of an Arab empire, of which he would be the unprovoked ruler. This empire will extend from Jordan and include Palestine, Lebanon, Syria and Iraq.

Actually, the author, Edy Cohen is frequent on the Christian site Israeltoday.co.il where this book was advertised.
The author Schwanitz posted the following image from al Husseini's own book
On page 126 of his 1999 Damascus memoirs, al-Husaini reveals Himmler’s remarks of having "up to now liquidated about three million of them" [Jews]. The talk occurred in summer of 1943.
