Trump can easily corral most of the right-side base again, the challenge will be to attract the independents and moderate Dems who he won over in 2016. That will mean not sounding like the strongest conservative on the planet because that’s not how they think. Seems to me the strongest approach is the core “kitchen table” issues - energy, inflation, the economy, investing in American first, avoiding foreign wars, etc.

Those Trump needs to vote for him aren’t nearly as concerned about Hunter’s laptop or the corrupt DOJ or the pronoun wars. The key for Trump will be to stay focused and consistent, not saying the right things one time then going out and doing rallies that say something else. If he can do it, he’ll be able to stay out of cheating distance of whoever the demos put up to run on the abysmal Biden record.

All the social stuff and things FReepers worry so much about like whether Trump will hire competent staff this time come later. He’s announced - now he has to come out of the gate strong and with a clear positive vision and a message that appeals to those he needs to support him, not just conservatives.

“That will mean not sounding like the strongest conservative on the planet because that’s not how they think.”

DeSantis is the strongest conservative and tha was his message!

Result: He turned +29 blue Miami-Fade int0 +11 red and won the state by 20 points.

Result: For the first time R registrations outnumbered D’s.

He totally demoralized the democratic party. So much that they only sent in about $1 million to help Crist and Demings.

DeSantis won on individual rights and freedom.

One thing to understand: anyone who likes Trump is NOT going to want to admit it in public unless they’re prepared to defend themselves. There are even MORE people (and I use that term loosely) who utterly HATE him and anyone who supports him.

Watch as libs and their ilk do everything they can to destroy, harass, and vilify anyone who supports Trump.
