On October 31st, Trump asked the Supreme Court to block the House Ways and Means Committee from getting six years of his tax returns.

President Trump on Monday filed an emergency appeal with the US Supreme Court to block the Democrats on the House Ways and Means Committee from getting his tax returns.
Recall, just one day after the FBI raided Trump’s Florida residence, a court ruled that the former president’s tax returns must be released to the House Ways and Means Committee.
A panel for the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia ruled 3-0 in August, upholding a prior decision by a federal judge.
Trump took the legal battle to the Supreme Court on Monday.
That request has been denied by the Supreme Court.
Fox News reported:
But on Tuesday, Roberts formally denied the request.
“The application for stay of the mandate presented to The Chief Justice and by him referred to the Court is denied,” the order states. “The order heretofore entered by The Chief Justice is vacated.”
The House Ways and Means Committee first requested six years of Trump’s tax returns in 2019.

Per law, Congress has the right to see any person’s tax returns. So, yes, Republicans have the right to request returns for Hunter Biden, Pelosi, etc. In the House it takes a request by the Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee. A Republican will be Chairman in Jan.
Section 6103(f)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) reads:
Upon written request from the chairman of the Committee on Ways and Means of the House of Representatives, the chairman of the Committee on Finance of the Senate, or the chairman of the Joint Committee on Taxation, the Secretary [of the Treasury] shall furnish such committee with any return or return information specified in such request, except that any return or return information which can be associated with, or otherwise identify, directly or indirectly, a particular taxpayer shall be furnished to such committee only when sitting in closed executive session unless such taxpayer otherwise consents in writing to such disclosure.4

With a 51 member majority, they can, and will put 6 new young justices on the Court. The president nominates, and with the “advice and consent” of the Senate, they are approved. So far as I can tell, with only 40 plus years of paying deep attention to politics and watching what they do and listening to what they say, the R class of liberal progressive politicians are only placeholders until the D class of liberal progressive politicians can get their power back. I’m guessing Biden’s tax returns will be available in early January.
