While Senator Tim Scott is a good man who came from humble beginnings, he, like Trey Gowdy, has been somewhat unremarkable during his 9 years in office. What the out-of-touch former lawmaker doesn’t understand is that no amount of praise by the former US Congressman, who walked away from the fight in DC to go back into private practice and appear as a regular host on Fox News, is going to help Tim Scott win the votes of millions of Americans who are sick and tired of being poor and pummeled by the radical left’s agenda.
So, how important is it for a Republican presidential candidate to be a “nice guy,” as opposed to a “fighter,” like Trump, as Trey Gowdy not-so-covertly references him in comparison to Sen. Scott? Does Gowdy really believe that Scott’s endorsements of RINOs for reelection will be forgotten in 2 years?

How little respect must the out-of-touch Gowdy have for voters that he sincerely believes Scott’s mom wanting him to be a pastor and Gowdy wanting him to run for governor in S. Carolina is enough to qualify him to become America’s next president? Republicans have had their share of “nice guys” running for President. History will not be kind to Mitt Romney, one of the “nicest” guys to run for President, who in 2012, had Barack Obama on the ropes after their first debate and then suddenly conceded the race to him. So unlikeable is Utah Senator Mitt Romney with Republicans that it’s very possible the devout Mormon could lose his bid for re-election in a Mormon-dominated state.
America is facing the worst ideological crisis in our nation’s history. The unrestricted killing of babies is the carrot Democrats plan to use to bring their voters to the polls, a close second to protecting the Marxist indoctrination of our youth. It’s great that Senator Tim Scott is a “nice guy” who smiles a lot and comes from humble beginnings, but for most moms (myself included) we want to see a fighter in the role of President, and so far, there isn’t a single politician alive who has worked harder than President Trump to fight for the soul of our nation.
I think Trey Gowdy probably dates Tim Scott.
Nobody cares what that ridiculous looking little worm Gowdy has to say.
I’m surprised FOX gave Gowdy a show, I guess they want a moderate GOPer on to show people how the GOP can get along and become assistant democrats.

This is always stupid. Republicans always think they are one black or women candidate away from a sure thing election. Michael Steele Allen Keys etc. Its dumb. The democrats attack black and women republican candidates harder and with more lies than any white male candidate. And its because they can’t afford to let them in. They need to make sure that republicans are synonymous with rich white males even though republicans are no longer rich and more than half are not white males.
Walker is the latest case. As soon as he is republican, he can be labeled anything and the press will attack. Even though his opponent is provably worse, the press won’t mention it. Black and female republicans are great. But their road to victory is actually harder.

When the safe guards written in to save our republic, have all been corrupted and the people too comfortable to resist and the media lies to those comfortable watching TV...
What do we do... all the blood spent saving our freedoms and giving this nation the greatest name in the world... when nothing matters any more... it’s over.

So true. I had my day of submission thinking republicans running minority candidates was a good strategy. I can’t repent enough for buying into that RINO strategy. Best candidate is the best strategy.

Trey Gowdy defended the FISA court and I believe Coney spying on Trump. He’s a RINO who tries to act tough.
Don’t judge by debates and interviews where they say what you want to hear.
For those candidates in Congress, judge them by their voting record and and programs they have supported, or failed to support. And also, who did they support in other elections?
But for Donald Trump, judge him by his performance during four years in office in which he gave this nation the best POTUS term in office in history.
There is no contest between his record in office and that of any other.
He is the only candidate who has satisfactorily produced for the American people.
Trey is GOPe snake. A sneaky little back stabber and not to be trusted. At least now we know who Mitch and the boys want.
