'My Heart Will Go On' singer Celine Dion says she is postponing some tour dates due to health diagnosis
Fighting back tears, singer Celine Dion shared in a video to fans she has been diagnosed with an incurable neurological disorder.
Speaking out on Instagram, the 54-year-old Canadian native said, "As you know, I've always been an open book. And I wasn't ready to say anything before — but I'm ready now. I've been dealing with problems with my health for a long time. And it's been really difficult for me to face these challenges and talk about everything that I've been going through."
Dion then revealed she had been diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), which she explained "affects something like one in a million people."
SPS is defined by the Cleveland Clinic as "a rare autoimmune movement disorder that affects the central nervous system (the brain and spinal cord). People with this condition first experience a stiffening of the muscles of their trunk followed, over time, by the development of stiffness and rigidity in the legs and other muscles in the body."

My priorities do not include giving a first thought to celebrity lives except to marvel at how there is literally nothing they do not know including how to ski, fly, canoe, drive... and that’s just the Kennedy’s.
Alot of diseases, esp. the rare ones, doctors have no clue. This is autoimmune, and there may be no genetic component to it. Many things seem triggered by some other event like viruses. I’m not going to tag it as in-breeding.

It is human nature to believe that we know and understand much more about the human body than we really do.
The explosion of “chemistry” throughout our society likely has much more impact than we know on our health with new toxins and compounds emerging weekly and we don’t give enough thought to this.
We have deployed a vaccine to hundreds of millions of people that we do not fully understand and you are not allowed to discuss it.
We know genetics can play a major role in many diseases, but we are only scratching the surface of what it means.
Modern medicine, like many pursuits, is focused on $$$$ and there is little money in preventative care versus catastrophic care so most research follows the $$$$.
The last one is a major disappointment for me.

That is the problem with the shots.
We don’t know. It is a mistake to blame everything on the vaccines and it is a mistake to ignore the possible role of vaccines in some of the disturbing data that is emerging.

I was asking the question in good faith, as the person seemed sure of what they were saying. As to your point, I’m sure we are very far from knowing all the consequences of the vaccine AND the virus.
Someone I know has first hand knowledge, documentation, that the covid vaccine has caused a large increase in cancer patients being treated at our hospital.
I just got an advertising mailer from that same hospital to go get a covid booster. To be fair to the local hospital, that mailer came out of corporate headquarters in another state.
What study would you like to wait for?
