Earlier today, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell discussed the greatest problem for the Republican Party as it exists with voters. Allowing people to vote is not in the best interests of the Republican Party. If the politicians could just devise a government system that didn’t need voters to support it, things would be much better.
As noted by Mitch McConnell, “Our ability to control the primary outcome was quite limited in 2022 because of the support of the former president. Hopefully in the next cycle, we’ll have quality candidates everywhere.” Unless and until the Republican Party can figure out how to get around the voting, installing the correct type of Republicans will always be problematic.

McConnell is human traitor trash. Bottom of the barrel of humanity and yet managed to stay in control. That tells me most of the GOPe in the senate are also human traitor trash.
Nuke the 17th Amendment.
IMO McConnell is telling us that the Uniparty will control the 2024 primary outcome. They'll do it by cheating. The days of MAGA getting what it wants in the primaries is over. Just like they stopped us in the general election in 2020 and 2022.
The Uniparty is taking their cheating to the next level.

This is why he has got to go. He literally is saying his preference was that Democrats win these competitive seats, rather him expending funds to support the candidate that the majority of his own party’s voters preferred in the primary.
Got that??? He substituted his will for that of his party’s constituents.
Hoping won’t do it, we have to give strong support to his opponent.

Despite intense post-2022 Election Day anti-Trump media propaganda, McConnell slips up and admits that there was a Trump-supporting red tsunami (my words) in 2022 elections imo.

It’s worse than that. The Democrat party actually contributed to some candidates that Trump endorsed, because they wanted to face them in the primary. And it worked. And the Trump endorsed candidates lost.
If Trump’s NOT running in 2024...Mitch will discover just how big that voter problem is.
