The ancient Greek myth of Pandora’s Box is often cited by those who oppose ideas or policies they fear will generate unwise consequences far beyond the scope of what is being contemplated. A cursory examination of the excesses of Canada’s inexorable march toward all-out government-supported euthanasia – which started at “death with dignity” and has now turned into “Can’t afford the rent? Have we got a solution for you ” – ably captures the essence of the historic warning.
Yet for the progressive Boston Globe, the largest newspaper in all of New England, the wisdom of the ages must always take a back seat to the spirit of the times. The Globe on Dec. 18 called for legalized euthanasia in Massachusetts in a firmly worded editorial that deliberately ignored the massive global attention Canada’s excessive Medical Assistance in Dying program has attracted in recent months.
The Globe had to bury its head to what is occurring not very far to its north to utilize the classic emotive weapon of cultural and political leftists: emphasizing worst-case scenarios to endorse proposed solutions they know will eventually be implemented on a much greater scale. It’s the ten-year-old rape victim means all abortions should be legal argument, euthanasia version.

Once upon a time, I actively fought against a state euthanasia proposal, and we defeated it!!!!
But the proponents of the culture of death keep coming back, again and again, in every blue state!!!!

Euthanasia implies that someone else will decide if you are better off dead. I am NOT comfortable with this.
There is a made for TV movie on yt from 1971 called “The Last Child”. It is set in the future when the government is actively involved with population control. Couples can only have 1 child, and when you hit 65 there is no more medical care. Swap “global warming” with “overpopulation” and you get the world we are poised to inhabit. If interested:

Amazing how they are all for the killing of children and the innocent but fight the execution and depraved killers to the end.
Let those that want to die, take a big drink of whiskey and tie a plastic bag over their heads (I’ve thought of this). Don’t involve anyone else in the decision. Don’t share the blame. We middle-class are living way too high in the hog. The resources we used should be be preserving for our betters and for the environment, of course). Let us eat bugs.

New Canadian Operation Game Just Has You Murder The Patient

TORONTO — In an attempt to change with the times, toy and game manufacturer Hasbro has introduced a special edition of its popular game Operation. This new version of the game, available only in Canada, simply has players end the patient’s life immediately.
“For sure, this is a much more relatable version of the game for consumers here in Canada, eh?” said Owen Hansen, Hasbro’s Regional Operations Manager for Canada. “The way we figure, youngsters here in The Great White North don’t really need to know much about performing life-saving operations, so we’ll just have ‘em put the poor hoser out of his misery.”
As a part of the revision, there will no longer be any bones or body parts for players to remove from the patient with electronic tweezers. Instead, there will simply be one single slot in the patient’s chest into which players will insert a knife. The only way to lose the game is to not end the patient’s life within the allotted time.
“Yes, this is a much more true-to-life version of the game for kids here in Canada, unfortunately,” said author, psychologist, professor, and famous Canadian, Dr. Jordan B. Peterson. “But what are the long-term consequences of teaching children to end lives rather than attempt to save them? You think it’s a harmless game, but it’s not!”
At publishing time, Hasbro was hoping sales numbers for the new game would be high for the Christmas season, with preliminary plans to follow it up with a new Canadian version of the game Clue, in which players would simply move room to room through a mansion while performing euthanasia on other characters.
Euthanasia approved by the state is afoot in Canada.
