‘Hero’ Spy Was Executed By Mistake – Zelensky Aide

The extrajudicial execution of Denis Kireev in March 2022 was due to a lack of coordination between security services, the top aide to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said on Thursday. Mikhail Podoliak was responding to a Wall Street Journal feature describing the 45-year-old banker as an asset of Ukrainian military intelligence, who supposedly helped save Kiev from Russian attack.

(In "The King's Man," WWI fictional movie) the white hat spy (actually, a British officer) at right showed the limitations of his acting knowledge and ability as he took on a fake battlefield identity as a private. The sergeant of a Scottish contingent at left recognizes white hat can't be who he claims to be and assumes battlefield authority to execute a spy.
Many sad. Good flick, though.
See to the right of the white hat's head that it's not all aligned and therefore only a movie!
