Kind of reminds me of a local opinion writer who was offended when the local HS chose the song “Wasted On the Way” as their class song. This writer, without even listening to the song, assumed it was about getting wasted - and blasted them.
Of course the song is ACTUALLY about regretting time and opportunities that are “wasted” in life.
And this comes as a surprise to whom?
