“According to the Department, K-9 Ice has a history of rummaging through trash cans that are within his reach. In addition, he has been accused multiple times of taking food right from coworkers’ hands as they walk by.”
My two standard poodles could teach this boy a thing or two. They have countersurfing down to a fine art. I put two filet mignons on the counter to thaw last week. We had dinner at Long John Silvers. I’m hoping I can get one of the poodles to flip on the other but no luck so far. I did find the packaging in the backyard.
Bad doggie !
Snooze, ya lose.
Hey maw where’d the roast I laid here just now go?
Beats me you seen Bart. I told that dog to stay home.

I watched my standard poodle go by my 2-year-old, kind of gave her little shoulder and she went against the wall and to keep her balance both of her arms went out and in one hand she had a biscuit and then she didn’t. It was the slickest maneuver I have ever seen a dog pull.
Years ago we had a Springer Spaniel in our rural area.
She managed to smell a pizza box a mile away (a “neighbor” :-) ), took it out of their garbage and proudly carried it the mile all the way home.
I was getting ribeyes ready for the grill one day. I had them on the table. I turned away for 5 minutes and they gone. Pit-chihuahua mix had stored them in her kennel for later. She ate well.
