To: airborne

I did not watch the game live, but watched a short video of the questioned call and its pretty easy to see how the ref thought it was holding. He had his right hand hooked around the body and his left hand in a fist on the jersey and it looked like he pulled it.

Did he “hold” him? Not really, but it sure looked like it.

In fact, even if they had video review I am not sure the review booth would have overturned the call. How would you? It “looked like a hold”. The television announcer did not do anyone favors with his comments either.

It’s a 60 minute game. Hard to blame “one play” and there will always be some 50/50 calls.

I thought it wasn’t much and it was close enough to the end of the game that it would have been better to not call it.

But the player that got called for holding said that he held but he was hoping he could get away with it.

Being a Steelers fan, it doesn’t break my heart that the call was against Philly.
