America would not be having any of our current problems if Trump were President. There is no possibility he would have gotten into Ukraine as he did not want to be starting wars when he was for getting America out of wars not into them. He had China completely under control when now they are in complete control of America and laughs at her weakness. There would not have been the allowing of the surveillance balloon to fly unchallenged across the country mapping the most secret bases from low altitude. Trump would have shot it down over the Pacific.
How convenient would it be to be able to get the codes, flight paths and signatures of America’s ballistic missile defenses in case they wanted to go to war with America. Now they have this and more from our most top-secret defenses as a balloon full of electronics was parked over these bases gathering data. This balloon was no joke and was able to fly across the state of Alaska through NORAD defenses and then down through the nuclear weapons in Wyoming and Nebraska, then down past DC and our most advanced quick response army bases.
The Biden regime was either derelict in its duty or most likely paid off by the Chinese Party. This was not a balloon, but a surveillance spy craft fully loaded with advanced electronics inside and out. The interior of a hundred-foot diameter balloon has over 30,000 sf of space to fill with electronics and cameras to observe and steal as many top-secret defenses as possible. This was like putting a high-tech satellite directly over the country at the perfect altitude to see and electronically gather information of America’s most sensitive defenses and broadcast it all back to Beijing This was by far the most treasonous action ever committed on this country.
The American military was tracking this spy platform from the entire time it lifted off in China and continued to track and hide the spy balloon from the public for the two weeks it was flying and now continues to hide the truth from the people. They did not tell the public the balloon had a propeller to allow it to fly wherever the Chinese military wanted to send it to maximize its damage to America’s defenses.
This was either the biggest example of military incompetence, pure corruption or both. This is the perfect example of the centrally planned decision making which is planned by a committee which is the worst way to make decisions. The cowardice of not shooting it down is what happens when your President is senile.
This is an administration which has no concern for American safety or security as well as hating the military for anything other than social planning and a giant Affirmative Action Virtue Grandstand. There are certain people in the regime who have zero concern for the security of this country while the radicals would love to see it under Chinese or Russian control. But enough about the President. They are more concerned about changing the sex of their soldiers than making soldiers.
This balloon was most likely filled top to bottom with electronics collecting visual and digital information the entire flight. It likely had ground piercing electronics to spy on our missiles in their silos.
Obviously, the Chinese wired explosives on the hardware so if it was shot down it would all be vaporized keeping the US military from knowing what was inside or what was the level of sensitivity of information captured and photographed. If the Air Force shot it down, they assisted the coverup of what was inside the high-tech balloon.
Now the regime is pushing this story into the memory hole and minimizing the damage done to the regime. They and PravdABDNC are doing everything they can to make the followers believe this was not a major event and will continue to make people forget this happened. Just one more notch on the bedpost of incompetence they so richly deserve. By all accounts the Trashcanistan fiasco may have been their best achievement.
Any military officer worth his salt would have shot this balloon down the minute it hit the Pacific Ocean off China and sent a message this will not be tolerated. Unfortunately, this is not America's military. This was all important information for a country wanting to invade Taiwan.

First, the instruments were not 'in' the balloon, they were attached. The frame shown in the recovery picture has also been seen carrying hypersonic 'glide vehicle' missiles, successfully tested by China in 2018 for launching... IOW, a first strike missile from a high altitude balloon.
That frame could also carry a small nuclear device at, say, 120,000 feet, to effect an electro magnetic pulse (EMP) to cripple our power grid system.
Also, while there were reports of a propeller in the recovery efforts, there is little need for one. Technology has engineered computer algorithms that allow balloons to take advantage of 'layering' of wind patterns such that by simply altering altitude, a balloon can navigate any course, even remain stationary.
For example, Loon is maintaining a stationary balloon over Nevada, a mountainous state, being used as a 'cell tower'. The opinion that China did not need balloons in order to spy on our military installations since they have satellites is without merit. A slow moving or stationary platform can intercept a mountain of intelligence that a fast moving satellite could never hope to obtain.
Then there is the ability of a balloon to 'seed' all sorts of small electronic devices into the local environment.
Don't think that a rifle shot would bring these balloons down. Even a small missile only presents a hindrance effect. These huge balloons present a whole new dynamic to 'hostile diplomacy.'
