Netherlands does not have any taboos regarding F-16 fighters, - head of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hoekstra
News Censor.NET World

https://censor.net/en/news/3402056/netherlands_does_not_have_any_taboos_regarding_f16_fighters_head_of_ministry_of_foreign_affairs_hoekstra

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Wopke Hoekstra, emphasized that it is very important for Ukraine to maintain its position on the battlefield.
He stated this in an interview with Ukrinform, Сensor.NET reports.

Answering a question about Ukraine’s request for F-16 fighter jets to the Netherlands, the minister emphasized that there is no taboo, but it is better to conduct this discussion behind closed doors.

“In general, there are no taboos for us. But it is better to conduct this discussion behind closed doors and always in close cooperation with our allies,” he said.

According to Hookstra, it is very important for Ukraine to maintain its position on the battlefield.

The minister explained how the 2.5 billion euros that the Netherlands plans to allocate to support Ukraine in 2023 will be distributed.

“A significant amount will be allocated for military support. As I said, it is very important that Ukraine holds its ground on the battlefield and that it ultimately shows Russia that unprovoked, illegal and brutal aggression is unacceptable. This allocation also includes humanitarian aid and recovery as soon as possible to help Ukrainians who are currently suffering from the consequences of, for example, losing their homes or Russia’s targeted destruction of civilian infrastructure, so this money will also be used to rebuild critical electricity and water supply,” he explained.

Andrei Strelkov from the town of Velizh in the Smolensk region has a rich biography. He served in the Soviet army, stole at a market in Lviv, was a foreman, and cooperated with the police. He was first imprisoned for embezzlement at the construction of an orphanage. Then the Russian police “hung” an entire marijuana plantation on him and sent him to prison for nine years. To be released, at the age of 58, he decided to become a stormtrooper in the Wagner group. In an interview with Liubomyr Ferens, Andriy told how mercenary prisoners fight, why he is afraid to return to Russia, and how this war should end.

Lithuania’s prime minister says Ukrainians should get all the weapons they want because they are dying for Europe’s safety: ‘We’re just losing some money’
Sinéad Baker
February 24, 2023 12:14 PM
https://africa.businessinsider.com/military-and-defense/lithuanias-prime-minister-says-ukrainians-should-get-all-the-weapons-they-want/wfxc5rw?op=1

“Ukraine’s allies should support Ukraine with whatever weapons it needs because Ukrainians are dying to protect Europe from Russia, Lithuania’s prime minister said in an interview with Insider.”

-Ukrainians are dying to help protect European security, Lithuania’s prime minister told Insider.

-That’s why Ukraine should get the weapons it needs, including offensive weapons, she said.

-Ingrida imonyt added that Ukraine’s allies are “not losing people. We’re just losing some money.”

Ingrida imonyt spoke to Insider on the eve of the one-year anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

She described Russia as a threat to Europe, and said Ukrainians are dying to protect the continent’s security and should be given advanced offensive weaponry.

“We are not losing people. We’re just losing some money. I say we are losing, [but] I think we are investing in a way, investing into our security,” she said.

“The least thing we can do is to support Ukraine with anything it needs,” she added.

Lithuania has been among Ukraine’s strongest backers, and has advocated for giving the country advanced weapons, striking a much less cautious tone than many of its other allies.

Lithuania was sending Ukraine weapons even before Russia’s invasion began last February, at a time when Ukraine was fighting Russian-backed separatists in its east.

imonyt said supporting Ukraine is an obvious human reaction, but also one that protects her country and Europe.

“It’s sort of a cliche to say that Ukrainians are fighting this war for all of us,” she added.

But “it is a very practical thing because President Zelenskyy actually says that bluntly: that if you want to stop Russia at the borders of Ukraine, you better provide Ukraine with all the weapons that Ukrainian army needs, because otherwise there might be no end to the war in Europe for a very significant period of time,” she told Insider.

Lithuania, like its neighbors Latvia and Estonia, was once part of the Soviet Union, but is now a member of NATO and the EU.

All three countries warned of the growing risk from Russia before its invasion of Ukraine started, and have boosted their own defenses since, believing Russia could turn to other European countries if it wins in Ukraine.

While Ukraine’s other backers have given more offensive weapons to Ukraine as the war progressed, Lithuania is urging them to send still more, including granting Ukraine’s request for fighter jets.

imonyt said that the time taken for countries to debate whether to send such weapons “costs people lives.”

She also stressed that arguments for only giving Ukraine defensive weapons don’t make sense, because Ukraine can’t push Russia out if it doesn’t have the ability to attack.

“How can you push back the Russian army from the territory of Ukraine, which we all know should happen, if you do not have heavy weapons?”

In fact, she said the invasion proves the Western strategy for dealing with Russian President Vladimir Putin in recent years — during which time his country attacked Georgia in 2008 and invaded eastern Ukraine and annexed the Crimea region — hasn’t worked.

“The strategy before this invasion was appeasement: let us give him [Putin] something so that he would not do anything stupid. But it never worked,” she said.

She added: “I think for the democratic leaders, there are no illusions anymore that you somehow can turn a blind eye on what is happening in Russia, because the signs of this coming should have been seen for a very long period.”

If you have the time, please watch Are there 46 bio-weapons labs in Ukraine?, and explain the following: z

According to the conspiracy courtesy of Twitter, how was it Ukraine has 30% to 90% of all the worlds BSL-4 rated biologcal laboratories?
Why would the US put them in Ukraine, when due to Russian interests that is the worst country to put them, and when were they built there?
When weapons research is for purposes of manufacture, why would the US have such research right next to Russia?
Why is it, according to those who track BSL labs like Global Bio Labs, Ukraine has not one BSL-3 or BSL-4 lab that is capable of such reserach?

Intellectual honesty demands for each of us to think independently.

Although, the exposure to differing viewpoints is important to rightly determine which is based on truth and facts.
I understand, if you don’t want to learn more about the continuation of Putin’s evil invasion of Ukraine.

Inside Putin's torture chamber: Victims of Ukraine war reveal horrors they have suffered at hands of regime's 'monsters.' Russian soldiers have committed nearly 90,000 war crimes in Ukraine with thousands of innocent people murdered, raped and tortured. Victims of the horror have blasted Putin's thugs as 'monsters' and 'animals' after they invaded a year ago. The Ukrainian government has logged the atrocities which have taken place since the invasion on February 24 last year. The southern city of Kherson suffered 8,000 crimes as it was occupied for eight months before Ukrainian soldiers retook it in November. 'This place was hell on Earth. 'The Russians were the monsters who came here. 'We were all scared of them.' Kiosk worker Svitlana Melnyk, 42, told MailOnline: 'I heard men and women screaming as they were dragging bodies out. Torture chambers have been found including one dubbed 'The Hole' where prisoners were electrocuted and beaten. Salesman Andriy Andryushcenko, 28, was held for 47 days by Russian soldiers and tortured after being caught daubing pro-Ukraine graffiti on walls. A solitary chair is placed in the centre of the torture chamber room Ukraine security agents investigating 'The Hole' Salesman Andriy Andryushcenko, 28, was held for 47 days by Russian soldiers after being caught daubing pro-Ukraine graffiti on walls. Andrij, who now works for the military administration, said: 'They beat me and put electric wire on my genitals and ears. 'They joked they were making calls to Zelensky or Biden when they did it as it was rigged to an old telephone. 'It was hell. They knocked my teeth out beat me unconscious. 'They put dumb bells on my neck and a knife at a back and made me squat down. 'I thought I was going to die.' Landscape gardener Nadia Knyaz, 30, shudders as artillery shells land 500ft away as she she sips a coffee in a cafe as she talked to MailOnline. Nadia said: 'That was close. It can be very scary here. 'The Russians arrested my husband when they were here as he used to be in the army. 'The put a blindfold on him, beat him and threatened to shoot him if he did not tell them where the military were. 'I was so scared but they let him go after a bit but took our car. 'They wanted him to collaborate but he said he didn't know anything.' 'Time has slipped away since they brought terror.' Minutes later a rocket attack on a bus stop killed five people and injured 12. Gunfire and more artillery fire was also heard later as people were ushered into a bomb shelter by the train station. The scale of the war crimes have been documented by the Ukrainian government who are investigating rapes, murder, torture and bombings of schools, nurseries, homes and hospitals. However officials believe there are way more than 90,000 war crimes committed by Putin's men. Sushi bar worker Karina Tereshkova (pictured), 23, was raped, tortured and shot by Putin's thugs after they massacred people in her hometown of Bucha Her mother Olena Derenko said: 'They were animals to her as she fought for her life' Andriy Yermak, head of the Office of the President, said: 'Alas the scale of the tragedy is far greater. 'For in nearly every liberated town or village we find evidence of torture and extrajudicial executions.'It is feared thousands of women have been raped during the war. Children have also been sexually asaulted and a teenager had a swastika burn onto her after an attack. Sushi bar worker Karina Tereshkova, 23, was raped, tortured and shot by Putin's thugs after they massacred people in her hometown of Bucha north of the capital Kyiv in March. All but one of Karina's fingernails had been pulled out. Her mother Olena Derenko, 42, said: 'They were animals to her as she fought for her life. 'I hate all Russians - I put a curse on them. 'They have caused so much pain. My heart aches for Karina. 'I cry every day.' Red Cross volunteer Victoria Yaryshko (pictured), 39, was also killed in December as she handed out bread More than 450 bodies were discovered in the town after they were killed by the Russians and 25 women were raped in a basement. Back in Kherson, people are mourning the dead from constant attacks. A Christmas Eve attack on a shopping area killed 11 and injured dozens. Red Cross volunteer Victoria Yaryshko, 39, was also killed in December as she handed out bread. Family friend Valerie Luhova, 34, said: 'Her two girls are devastated. 'She was such an angel. She looked after animals and children with special needs. 'She wouldn't harm anyone.' When Russia seized their city, a group of friends became unlikely members of Ukraine’s secret resistance

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/when-russia-seized-their-city-a-group-of-friends-became-unlikely-members-of-ukraines-secret-resistance/ar-AA17Uhjr

[EXCERPT]

KHERSON, Ukraine — At dawn on the second day of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, car part salesman Vladyslav Nedostup watched a Russian tank emblazoned with the letter “Z” rumble down the street of his hometown, Kherson. Under the amber gloom of the streetlights, soldiers marched in formation alongside their war machines.

“It was like the tentacles of the Russian monster were entering our city,” he said. “Driving their armored vehicles slowly along the streets, covering them in darkness.”

That’s when Nedostup, 28, decided he would become a partisan and join the city’s underground anti-Russian resistance. According to his own telling, a man who had never fired a gun before would soon become a killer.

“I am not a trained guerrilla or an assassin,” he told NBC News during one of several lengthy interviews conducted over two visits to Kherson. “I just wanted to destroy them with my own hands.”

Kherson was the first major city to fall to Russia after its forces invaded on Feb. 24, 2022. The Russians violently suppressed residents protesting against the Kremlin-appointed government for more than eight months, until the Black Sea city was liberated in November.

When Nedostup initially joined Kherson’s civil defense in the early days of the invasion, he was handed a rifle and sent to different positions to guard the city. But with the Ukrainian military quickly overwhelmed, the civil defense units disbanded.

With the Ukrainian army unable to enter the city, Nedostup and the rest of the resistance fought back as the Russians became more entrenched. He contacted the Ukrainian intelligence service and became a conduit to pass along information that could help the Ukrainian armed forces with their push to take back the city.

Nedostup knew he couldn’t do it alone, so he paired up with two old friends who remained in the city: a gregarious taxi driver, Mykhailo Kuanov, and Nastya Burlak, an easygoing bar manager.

Together, they developed a system to spy on and target Russian soldiers in the city and to pass the information on to the intelligence services.

Kuanov would drive around the city chatting with the Russian soldiers who were among his customers, getting information about their movements.

“Taxi drivers like to talk,” Nedostup, 30, said during several interviews. “Mykhailo is an expert at this.”

“The guys were so carefree that they didn’t even try to hide their whereabouts,” Kuanov said of the Russians. “I was picking them up from point A and bringing them to point B, and I knew that they were obviously not alone at point B, that there were quite a few of them.”

In the summer, Kuanov said he got a tip that the Russians were storing equipment inside a giant warehouse that had also been used as a shopping mall.

“Instead of running straight to Vlad and yelling, ‘Vlad, there’s equipment there!’ I thought I’d go for a drive,” Kuanov added.

Taxi drivers have the advantage of being able to drive anywhere in the city without raising suspicion, so Kuanov scoped out the site to confirm that Russian equipment, mostly vehicles, were being stored inside.

After receiving the information from Kuanov, Nedostup went onto Google Maps, highlighted the shopping mall and sent the screenshots and coordinates to Ukrainian intelligence. Other partisans in the city also worked on targeting that building, and in September the building was destroyed by Ukrainian airstrikes.

Nedostup and Kuanov said they didn’t know if anyone had been killed in the strike.

Kuanov said he wouldn’t be sorry if the air strikes that he helped make possible ended up killing Russian occupiers.

“I can’t say I wished them dead,” Kuanov said, “But wait a minute guys, I didn’t ask you to come here and ‘liberate’ me.”

An eye on Russian clientele:

Meanwhile, Burlak, the bar manager, was keeping an eye on her Russian clientele.

To mess with the invaders, Burlak, 30, and the other staff would sometimes intentionally mix up their pizza orders or upsell them on the more expensive drinks.

But she and her staff had to be careful and focused despite the hijinks.

“The Russians in the bar were very cruel,” Burlak said, describing how soldiers would come to her bar in the middle of the day, order whiskey by the bottle, eat plates of crayfish and carouse with prostitutes.

Burlak said the soldiers could turn on her or her staff in an instant.

“You had to think carefully so you wouldn’t blurt something out and accidentally provoke them,” she said. “The possibility of ending up in a dungeon frightened me most because that’s where people were tortured and women were raped.”

She also noticed that the soldiers were sloppy, getting wasted, and sometimes forgetting their weapons in the bar.

This kind of information was useful to Nedostup
