another word for her phrasing would be ‘hodgepodge’

“...a hodgepodge of lies...” is a phrase I’ve read in older books and/or books using older descriptions.

I thought her sentence rang a bell and looked up the word and ‘hodgepodge’ was among words suitable.

LOL I am finally getting old enough where my youthful liking of older books is paying off! Love it!
