He just has really slow speech/statement writers is all.

I have no idea just like anyone else except for DeSantis. Maybe he figured nothing burger not worth rushing to twitter or the nearest camera to make a statement on. Not a bad thing necessarily. Maybe like many other repubs, he just doesn’t like Trump but acted like he did at one time.

It’s politics. The thought processes are different from normal people.

Dittoes.

The worship needs to stop. EverTrumpers have become exactly what they accuse so many Dems - worshipful of a man. Stick to the principles.

Is Trump innocent, or need he be arrested? That is debatable, but treating this like it’s an obvious statement on the country, and answering his crying out for help by followers…that’s just beyond the pale.

I prefer Senator Cruz's response to this prosecutorial debacle:

“ Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) slammed Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's “political persecution” of former President Donald Trump as “utter and complete crap.”

“The case from the Manhattan District Attorney, if they bring an indictment and charge him, is utter and complete crap…It is flimsy. It is weak,” Cruz said on his latest Verdict podcast episode. “It has been rejected by prosecutor after prosecutor after prosecutor. And it is obviously political retribution and a political persecution.

“[Bragg] hates Donald Trump. Now he has a right to hate Donald Trump. But he doesn't have a right to abuse and corrupt the justice system to persecute his political opponents. And that, sadly, is exactly what he's doing here,” the Texas senator continued.”

Why? Same reason people thought that the VicePresident could set aside an election. No understanding of how our govt works under the Constitution.

"I understand that the Constitution may just be a piece of paper to you, but this legal issue has been settled."

Your understanding is erroneous. Nothing could be further from the truth. Note tagline.

However, remember this: Everything Adolf Hitler and his murderous regime did was legal, and completely illegal was Antigone's burying her brother.

Cool 50 year old case.

But here in the new millennium, as of 2010, Florida, Alaska, and Hawaii do not extradite for misdemeanor claims committed in another U.S. state.

DeSantis has some very astute and mature advisers.

Trump, this time around, has a bunch of hotheaded amateurs advising him.

It’s a shame, but the petulant Trumpsters are dragging the man down with them.

Their bizarre rants and attacks on Ron DeSantis are losing multitudes from the Trump fold.

Thanks for clarifying, and for quoting case law.

Many needed this instruction.

Cool 50 year old case. But here in the new millennium, as of 2010, Florida, Alaska, and Hawaii do not extradite for misdemeanor claims committed in another U.S. state.

This is the problem with people today. You don't care one iota for what the truth is. The only thing that matters is your feelings. You read something on an internet comment, you desperately want it to be true, so you are willing to throw all truth away to reaffirm your preconceived notions.

That's precisely what liberals did for decades, now that's what "conservatives" do in the area of "alternative facts."

Facts are facts. Truth is truth. Your opinion is irrelevant.

Now, I have provided with you with the Florida Code, verbatim.

"Subject to the provisions of this chapter, the provisions of the Constitution of the United States controlling, and any and all Acts of Congress enacted in pursuance thereof, it is the duty of the Governor of this state to have arrested and delivered up to the executive authority of any other state of the United States any person charged in that state with treason, felony, or other crime, who has fled from justice and is found in this state."

I provided you with citations to opinions from Florida Courts, including the Florida Supreme Court. I provided you with citations to the Federal Code and the United States Supreme Court.

You've done nothing but jackassed.

Here are the real facts.

1. Florida law 941.02 explicitly authorizes extradition for treason, felonies and OTHER crimes (misdemeanors).

2. The Florida Supreme Court has explicitly ruled that fugitives can be extradited on Misdemeanors.

3. Even if Florida law were written to the contrary, 18 USCS § 3182 and Article IV, Section 2 of the Constitution would override that low.

4. If Trump is indicted, it is like to be for a felony anyway. New York Penal Law 175.10 is a felony, not a misdemeanor.

5. I've proved you with the law, you haven't even attempted to do so.

6. Facts do not care about your feelings.

You might want to Google a bit more.

Just type in my sentence with “2010”.
