Alvin Bragg: Soros' Slave or Biden's Gimp?

That hissing sound you hear is the sound of Alvin Bragg's case against Donald Trump deflating.

Bragg is the controversial Manhattan DA who is on the verge of indicting Donald Trump for well, something Bragg contrived. Bragg is a "progressive" (i.e., advocate for criminals) DA who is funded by George Soros.

In June, Bragg was linked to Soros after it was revealed that the far-left Color of Change PAC which endorsed his candidacy was receiving millions from the billionaire investor. “Soros also donated $1 million to Alvin Bragg’s successful DA campaign in Manhattan, funneling the cash through the Color of Change political action committee, according to public filings,” the New York Post reported.
In the year following his election crime skyrocketed
The latest NYPD figures show major crime remains up 36% so far this year – even though shootings and murders both saw a dip of about 10% as of Sunday. “The politicians will say ‘Murder is down!’ and ignore everything else,” said Joseph Giacalone, a retired NYPD sergeant and adjunct professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in Manhattan. “Meanwhile, everything else is God awful.”

Grand larceny was up a whopping 48.3%, from 20,374 to 30,205 incidents, auto theft rose 42%, from 5,589 to 7,939, and robbery jumped 39.8%, from 7,366 to 10,294, over the same period in 2021, the data show. Rapes increased 10%, from 892 to 989, and felonious assaults were up 19.5%, from 13,086 to 15,640, the statistics show.

Bragg ran on a promise to pretty much not prosecute crime. He has downgraded 52% of felonies to misdemeanors. His soft touch on crime has come with a terrible cost. A 25 year old man who raped a teenager in New York City saw his rape charge reduced to "sexual coercion" by Bragg.
But just a week before he was set to be sentenced Wednesday, Washington allegedly went on a sex-crime spree, attacking four women and a man near the homeless shelter where he was living in the Bronx.
Josa Alba, a bodega owner in the city, killed a man attacking him in self defense.  Bragg had him charged with murder and stuffed the Latino Alba in Rikers.
Alba called police, and when they arrived, they arrested him on second-degree murder charges, sparking a wave of protest from supporters, including Mayor Eric Adams and former NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton, who said the stabbing was committed in self-defense.
He drops a lot of cases
His office won felony convictions at a rate of 51%, down from 68% in 2019. His misdemeanor conviction rate was 29%, compared to 53% in 2019.

Bragg declined to prosecute 1,119 felony cases during his first 11 months in office compared to 828 declined in 2019 by his predecessor,  a 35% increase.

That all makes it appear he's being successful at combating crime.

Bragg has been rather selective with who gets charged with what. He routinely downgrades felonies to misdemeanors but in Trump's case he's trying to upgrade a misdemeanor to a felony. That reeks of politics.

Bragg's judgment has been called into question. The Wall St Journal:

"Alvin Bragg may actually do it. The Manhattan district attorney is by all media accounts preparing to indict Donald Trump for failing to account properly for hush money paid to his alleged mistress, unleashing who knows what political furies.

"It’s impossible to overstate Mr. Bragg’s bad judgment here," the board wrote.

"Perhaps the local Democratic DA has discovered some new proof of criminal behavior. But based on the public evidence so far, he would be resurrecting a seven-year-old case that even federal prosecutors refused to bring to court," they noted.

And there's the rub. Both the former NYC DA's office and the FEC refused to prosecute the case. Bragg resurrected the case once Donald Trump decided to run for the Presidency again.

This would be a purely political prosecution.

But then yesterday Bragg's case was mortally wounded. His star witness being a convicted perjurer was bad enough, but a former Cohen legal adviser came forward and what he had to say was very interesting.

He made it clear coming into office that there was no case here, despite being elected by Soros. Biden simply wanted someone to finish the job that the DOJ couldn’t.

He’s burnishing his far-left credentials by abusing his power as DA/AG.

Its very common in New York. Its how Spitzer became governor, its how Cuomo became governor, its how Schneiderman almost became governor, and its what Letitia James is doing now as well.

He should change his name because it’s the same last name of a civil war general. He should take the last name Chipmunk.

They’re both in his chain of command. Since Biden is Soros’s slave and gimp, it makes Bragg both.

Bragg is a slave, a slave of the Democratic Marxist plantation, and Soros is his slave-master, whipping the slave into doing this jumped up political persecution under color of law.

Yes, Bragg is a n——r of Soros. And to be that Bragg is a traitor to all free American Black people everywhere and a traitor to the US Constitution. The only black folk who support Bragg are his fellow n-——s on the Dem Marxist slave plantation. And every one of them can rot in hell as far as I am concerned.

NOT that Dr John needs any help, but an update on the Josa Alba case - he was released after much protest, but he will be suing Bragg for at least 10 million.

..”The bodega worker who was infamously charged with murder after stabbing an assailant inside the store will sue the city for wrongfully prosecuting him and for the time he was jailed in Rikers Island before his case was finally dropped, The Post has learned.

Jose Alba, 61, plans to file suit next month, his attorney, Imran Ansari, said Wednesday.

Alba in September filed notices of claim against the city and the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office for $10 million, alleging they wrongfully brought a case against him for fatally stabbing ex-con Austin Simon, 35, in self-defense on July 1, 2022.

The notices — the legal precursors to lawsuits against certain New York agencies — claim the NYPD botched the investigation and withheld critical evidence from the DA’s office that would have cleared Alba’s name” ..
