And how come NO ONE ever brings up the Cuban missile crisis, in which Russia tried to do what NATO is trying to do with Ukraine. Let Russia in our backyard, just like we would be in their backyard if NATO (which is really the US, grow up folks) let Ukraine in.
We would share 1500 miles with Russia. American troops and missiles could and eventually would be put there.
Putin was NEVER gonna let that happen.

A close analysis of the meeting between Xi and Putin makes it clear Russia has just grovelled like mad in order to get junior partner status.
Trading in yuan, with no mention of the Ruble. Russian Federation cities getting Chinese names on Chinese maps. Russia provides oil, gas and grain; China provides mod cons and teaches Russia how to make stuff.
It’s more like Putin getting an unpaid internship than Putin getting the keys to the executive rest room.
Ukraine is doing a good thing for Ukraine, by ignoring Putin and talking to Putin’s new boss. Not so good for the Washington NWO.
