True and throw away items make some sense. For example coffee filters. Thing is our local pulp mill went out of the business of making paper. Instead it and other pulp are sent directly to China to produce paper now. That’s the consequence of China.

Paper mills are really filthy, though. I know because my father worked in a mill which was owned by my uncle. Even as a kid, before the days of environmentalism ( yes, I am old) I was shocked at the pollution from the paper mill and wondered how they could let the paper mill do that. I didn’t know who “they” were.
