Poor Ray Epps. Last July, the New York Times reported that life has “just been hell” for Ray Epps, who hasn’t spent a day in jail over his role in the January 6 Capitol riots. The January 6 select committee ran Epps through the wringer, with then-Rep. Adam Kinzinger explaining that Epps was “just another misled man” who got riled up by Donald Trump’s incendiary rhetoric. We’ve all seen the video of Epps inciting people to enter the Capitol, but in his second interview transcript, he claimed he thought the Capitol would be open to the public on January 6. In that same interview, he explains what he meant when he texted his nephew to say he was in front of the crowd and “also orchestrated it.”
The fact-checkers got to work debunking the suggestion by “the crazies” (Kinzinger’s words) that Epps was either a fed or working with the feds, but the allegations just won’t go away. Epps apparently wants to clear his good name and is demanding that Fox News’ Tucker Carlson retract “false and defamatory statements” about him and issue a “formal on-air apology.” That’s not gonna happen.

Note that the Times keeps running the photo of Epps not in jail but at home with his wife, going through hell, and not the photos of him inciting people to rush the Capitol.

Good, time to get the magnifying glass on Epps. I look forward to the answers to a lot of questions about Epps that we Americans have. Maybe even explore the perjury he committed which was proved by Jan 6 security video. Perhaps a subpoena before congress might clear things up.

My lying eyes say this agent provocateur Ray Epps is guilty of following his FBI orders from Extremist Marxist Progressive House leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Dinosaur) and her factotums at Capitol Police.
He should sue. The discovery would be interesting. Honestly, if Epps were to sue, I doubt he’d live through it. “They” can’t have the truth come out.

It will be funny seeing NY Times and crap TV media rise up to defend Epps, the prime Jan. 6 “insurrectionist.”
Now this is very fascinating because it would be a novel legal theory that being an undercover federal agent, or even an informant, is “defamatory”.
I’m pretty sure the opposite would be true, it’s defamatory if you’re falsely accused of breaking the law.
So he’s going to prove that working with the FBI gives one a bad reputation.

Let Epps sue and then Discovery starts and we find out what is what. There is lot about this guy that doesn’t compute well. There he is in lots of videos pushing people on to protest, riot, whatever and yet this guy escapes the drag net and is not charged and even interviewed by anyone for his role.
Now now, it’s true Epps texted his nephew that he (Epps) organized the whole thing.
But the wonderful Jan 6 committee accepted his explanation that because he hunts with his nephew and they are buddies, of course his text was just a joke.
Wouldn’t you like to text that you just organized a crime, and have the authorities accept you were only kidding?
Especially when there is video of you doing it?
