A shoot down near Bakhmut would indicate a "troops-in-contact" CAS mission.
MANPAD (Stinger) was probably the munition used.
I think it’s desperation. GeneralSVR reported that Shoigu promised Putin that Avdiivka and Bakhmut would be captured within the next 2 weeks. And the May 9th Red Square victory parade is looming.
