The assassination of Martin Luther King Jr, on the 4th April 1968, lead to many very violent criminal reactions on April 5th and the following few days. In the King assassination riots, there were 43 deaths, over 3,000 injuries and over 20,000 people arrested.

President Lindon Johnson said of that extreme reaction: “What did you expect? ....... When you put your foot on a man’s neck and hold him down for three hundred years, and then you let him up, what’s he going to do? He’s going to knock your block off.”

King had said “……. in spite of temporary victories, violence never brings permanent peace. It solves no social problem: it merely creates new and more complicated ones. Violence is impractical because it is a descending spiral ending in destruction for all.”

Along with the JFK assassination I’ve always believed the MLK assassination was a conspiracy, James Earl Ray was not smart enough to pull off the assassination and then somehow manage to get out of the country.

As I recall James Earl Ray had with him several professionally made forged passports. Who made them for him and how did he know how to find the forger?

Eventually MLK will be cancelled by the Left for being an "Uncle Tom".

I would throw in the RFK assassination as a conspiracy, I think Sirhan Sirhan is still alive and in prison, they’re a bunch of peculiar things about that assassination.

You maybe right about Sirhan Sirhan. He seemed to come out of nowhere.

One of the nice stories was James Brown doing a concert the night of the riots to try to get people from rioting.

“Who made them for him and how did he know how to find the forger?”

It’s almost as if he was working with a Civilian Institution of Assassins....

James Earl Ray also traveled around Europe after he left America after the assassination. Who funded all his travel?

Excellent observation. Yes who funded him. He was not the brightest bulb on the planet. As I recall he was arrested when he was fumbling around for his passport and the immigration people found that he had several in his possession.
