I know it is odd but it happens sometimes with FR’s search function. It’s happened to me and to others and occasionally there is a discussion about what causes it. I don’t think a consensus was ever reached as to the cause so it was decided that Freepers would just have to live with it and hope it doesn’t happen too often.
I’ve often searched on a topic looking for an article that I know was posted here in the past month or so. My search results would show no recent articles, sometimes not showing anything on the subject matter as being posted in months. This is even when using several different search parameters. So, we live with it.
It is so weird. Sometimes people say it is due to browser differences. IDK...
