Makes me wonder if saboteurs are at work here.
So easy to cancel an adversary. This in itself smacks of sexism.
I’d be surprised if the “toxic workplace” allegations were even a blip on the radar.
I think this is all about creative control. You could see that there was a struggle going on in the C Suite when Tucker first rolled out the “alternative history” January 6 tapes. That ran for 1 or 2 nights, even though it was clear from Carlson’s reporting that there was a lot more tape to be run.
Then, crickets.
Tucker was clearly told to back off the J6 tapes or else. Then he got his teeth into the whole vaccine thing and the Pfizer/Faucci dance of death. That was bad for the swamp. But the last straw was Going after the trans “community” and calling them out for the violent nut-cases that they are. That was unforgivable.
Ironically, now Tucker is truly free to do and say whatever he wants. He has a huge and loyal following to bring to the table at his next job. If he stays in cable TV, he could be #1 in cable news again...instantly, wherever he lands. His firing only increases his creds in the news reading business. And if he can only tone down his bursts of laughter on air, he brings a new gravitas to the battlefield.
That and bout $25 million annually could make him the next Rush Limbaugh.
Just my 2c.
