“In an online forum for Syracuse students, someone posted a photo of a torn flier. Underneath the photo, another user wrote, ‘The b**ch is a liar and a fraud.'”
Some of the students at Syracuse University objected this week to a talk by activist Yeonmi Park, who escaped the communist nightmare of North Korea.
They called Park a liar and tore up flyers meant to promote her appearance.
Leftist students at Syracuse University recently voiced opposition to an event featuring Yeonmi Park, a North Korean defector.
Ahead of the event hosted by the Syracuse College Republicans in partnership with Young America’s Foundation, students destroyed fliers and posted messages critical of Park and the College Republicans in an online forum.
Park, who delivered her speech on Apr. 5, “has criticized concepts like political correctness, trigger warnings and ‘woke culture’ in her career,” according to the student newspaper, The Daily Orange.

I was at Lehigh University when the Dalai Lama spoke there for a week. There were many organized protestors with preprinted signs and mega-phones there screaming and making noise the entire time. All organized by CHINA.
If Chinese students did not protest, their family in China would be punished and their student visas would be revoked. Now you understand why they need the Chinese Police Force in the USA.
She is an an actual escaped slave who lived under real socialism.

This is what kids are learning. Yes, it is being taught to them. It’s a stark change from when I was a kid. I wanted to become (and became) an engineer because that’s one of the ways you can work in the space program. Lo and behold, as a consultant, I worked at NASA, ESA, Spar Aerospace, & Lockheed Martin. That’s really nothing special. It’s just an example of what any kid can do when properly motivated with a vision and a half decent education. Are there kids today that have any vision? And drive? Motivation? Education?

I love it how a bunch of spoiled leftists - raised fat and stupid amongst the kinds of material comforts capitalism has afforded them, and that are the envy of the world - are telling someone from North Korea that she doesn’t know anything about communism and to shut up.
Ironically, one of the pictures on the wall was Deng Xiao-Ping, who himself was eventually purged during The Cultural Revolution.
Sad that rich American brats are supporting communism voluntarily.
It sure is pitiful to watch these young people swallow the BS these professors are feeding them and then are throwing their freedoms under the bus.
So in otherwords, the students are acting just like the communist tyrant that the woman had to escaped from.

My wife is a liberal. I was surprised recently when she asked me how to change her voter registration from Democrat to Independent.
She is the most intelligent human I have ever met(went right from high school to med school and was an MD 6 years out of high school), but lacks common sense.
It’s been interesting observing her as a case study. I’m glad she never had children as her parenting style is also very liberal. She uses it on our dogs and they don’t listen to her.
I’ll be away traveling and she’ll call me and ask me to yell at the dogs as they won’t listen to her. The dogs hear my voice and respond like they had a shock collar on (I never used one). The dogs control her.
I see the same pattern in the youth of today. They have no discipline, self or otherwise. Liberals create a manipulative dependency/codependency that blocks the children from ever having a healthy sense of self. As a result, they prefer a government where they can form an unhealthy dependency/codependency. They are totally driven by emotional attachment, blind to reality. They lack common sense. They become fodder for the communism style government.
My children from a previous marriage that I raised are very successful independent world traveled parents, enjoying life raising their children. They are self sufficient, adaptive, positive, independent individuals. They are attracted toward a democracy, but like me, get frustrated when your vote does not count.
We sure are living in interesting times!

Yep, amazing how these stupid college kids, can call her a liar, when she lived with the difficult conditions in North Korea. She lived it, and tells her story, and they call her a liar???
