Liberal SCOTUS Justice Caught in Scandal That Blows Up Recent Left-Wing Attacks

There’s one certainty in politics. If a Democrat is accusing a Republican of doing something, it is the Democrat who is inevitably actually doing it.

That dynamic played out again Wednesday after a major revelation about Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor called into question all the recent left-wing attacks on Justices Clarence Thomas and Neil Gorsuch.

For the last few weeks, a coordinated assault on the court’s conservatives has taken place, with numerous press outlets releasing reports supposedly detailing corruption. In reality, essentially everything charged amounted to nothing legally or ethically. In the case of Thomas, he was not required to report the free travel he received from long-time friend Harlan Crow. A secondary charge that Thomas misreported income also turned out to be nothing more than a simple technical mistake involving two entities with nearly identical names.

As for Neil Gorsuch, he was accused of selling land to the executive of a law firm that had business before the Supreme Court. Once again reality got in the way of the far-left hysteria, though, after it was revealed that Gorsuch sold the property just nine days after being confirmed and that the person he sold it to had no business at all before the court at the time.

You get the idea. These attacks have been absolutely ridiculous, but that didn’t stop Senate Democrats from calling a hearing to furiously wag their fingers. Well, they are going to have to call another hearing because it’s been revealed that Sotomayor took $3.6 million from a book company that did have business before the court at the time (The Daily Wire).

Sonia Sotomayor received over $3 million for her books from Penguin Random House publishing and then didn't recuse herself from a case in which they were involved before SCOTUS where the company stood to lose money.

What did Clarence Thomas do again?

Liberal Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor declined to recuse herself from multiple copyright infringement cases involving book publisher Penguin Random House despite having been paid millions by the firm for her books, making it by far her largest source of income, records show.

In 2010, she got a $1.2 million book advance from Knopf Doubleday Group, a part of the conglomerate. In 2012, she reported receiving two advance payments from the publisher totaling $1.9 million.

That sound you hear is every Democrat who demanded Thomas and Gorsuch resign suddenly running away from any discussion of Supreme Court “ethics.” While the accusations against the conservative justices were silly and shallow, there is actual meat on the bone regarding what Sotomayor did. The publishing company in question actually stood to lose money depending on how the court ruled, yet she took millions of dollars from it anyway and then didn’t recuse herself from the case.

I’m a relatively simple man, but that sure seems much worse than Thomas getting a free vacation from a friend or Gorsuch selling a piece of property. Sotomayor’s actions look even more scandalous when you consider other liberal justices who took money from Penguin House did recuse.

Will Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez be filing articles of impeachment against the self-proclaimed “wise Latina” as she’s said she’ll do against Thomas? I think we all know the answer to that, but regardless, these revelations about Sotomayor have complicated Democrat attacks.

Affirmative action dirtbag Sotomayer isn’t qualified to be a Justice of the Peace in the backwoods let alone the highest court in the nation

What’s the rule again? If more than 3 abstain (for any reason), they can’t render a decision?

RE: Rats never recuse. Never.

That is why I remain to this day, very ANGRY at then Atty. Gen Jeff Sessions.

His recusal over the alleged Russia Hoax scandal opened the door to a wasteful 3 year investigation into Trump’s alleged collusion with Russia, the destroying of the lives of Gen. Mike Flynn, Carter Page and others, and many other useless investigations.

Sessions should have stood firm and never recused himself.

But this is perfectly OK because she’s a liberal and not an uppity black man who deigns to think for himself.

Looks like there was a serious rift in the Supreme Court over the Dobbs leak. Understandable as at least one Justice feels that the goals was to get one or more Justices assassinated to alter the make up of the court.

The Justices seemed to have been willing to let the issue drop without accountability.

Obviously, the Wise Latina did not grasp the gravity of the situation and has been pushing bogus ethics charges against several of the Conservative Justices.

Looks the the Conservative Majority is looking to push back.

DemocRATS and DemoKKKrats believe that any with any amount of substantial money must have cheated, so their own cheating is just ‘equity.’ Getting a job, getting up every day and going to work is anathema to these creeps. The idea of saving your own money, doing without if you cannot afford it does not compute to leftists. To the left, Justice Thomas is not brilliant because he is not a leftist.

“Sessions should have stood firm and never recused himself.”

He should have told Trump of his chronically weak knees before or at least shortly after he was nominated to the post, enabling Trump to withdraw the nomination in favor of another more suitable candidate. As it happened, Sessions did Trump a terrible disservice.

I was warning liberals of this as they were attacking Thomas.

SCOTUS Justices have a long history of taking money and trips for speeches.

Saint Ginsburg spoke before Planned Parenthood when they had business before the court.

All this is faux outrage with the hopes of triggering a leftist into assassinating a Justice so Biden can replace them.

I usually use ‘Wide Latina’ ...

While she may be smarter than many females, she comes in second as the dumbest female SCOTUS. KBJ leads that category.

the most obvious conclusion I have come to is that Sessions was a mole in the trump campaign.

he had to have some idea of what would happen if he recused and rosenstein got to run the show. he did it anyway.
