I’m glad I got a new Honda mower last year. I did consider buying an electric mower, but they say the batteries need to be replaced after about 5 years and can cost $400 or more. I can buy a lot of gas & oil for that kind of money. A gasoline powered mower will easily last 15 years or more if you take care of it.
All of the battery powered mowers seem to be made out of cheap plastic.

“I’m glad I got a new Honda mower last year. “

This summer my Honda lawn mower turns 26 years old. I had to replace the rear drive wheels once as they were worn out (a 40 degree hill in one area).

I use synthetic oil and gas stabilizer in the winter.

The ONLY weed-wacker that has ever worked for me is a 4-stroke straight shaft Honda. Man is it great! it’s 23 years old this summer. Similar upkeep to mower.

Three years ago I purchased a new 32” Honda snow-blower to replace my 24 year old 32” Honda snow blower - it was working well it’s just that the new version has electric start, a much easier to use tilt mechanism and well as steering controls which is WAY easier on my back. Makes a BIG difference when doing a 90’ driveway (front) or a 600’ driveway (back). I even used it on my 1,400 sq ft deck this winter when we had 30+ inches of snow.

Honda makes very good equipment right here in the US of A.
