In November 2019 in an exclusive report, The Gateway Pundit uncovered evidence that showed that on Jeff Sessions’ first day in office, he was committed to recusing himself as President Trump’s Attorney General and handing over the Department of Justice to the crooks in the Deep State.
The former Senator from Alabama, Jeff Sessions was sworn in as President Trump’s Attorney General on February 9, 2017. His first real day of work was a few days later on Monday, February 12, 2017. Sessions was hardly a day in office before President Trump was set up in the Oval Office by the corrupt FBI Director James Comey on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2017.
Crooked former FBI Director James Comey met the President in the Oval Office. He did not tell the President that he was under investigation for the fake made-up crime of ‘colluding with Russia’. But the President was under investigation and Comey was the investigator. As soon as Comey left his meeting that Valentine’s Day, he ran to his laptop to record his conversation with the President. It was a setup and the Head of the FBI was acting as an investigative FBI official, something never before seen in US history.
Comey was spying on the President. The President was under attack for false and crazy charges of colluding with Russia, and he was lied to about this for months. Later Comey met with the Senate after being fired by President Trump. In this infamous setting before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, Comey did all he could to have the President removed from office. He said many inflammatory comments during the hearing but a couple comments now stick out. It was one of the most shocking spectacles ever before the Senate.

You've got to be kidding me.. Comey was most-likely listening to ALL of Sessions phone calls AND ANY CONVERSATION HE HAD AT HOME WITH HIS WIFE WITHIN EARSHOT OF HIS CELLPHONE OR ANY PC HE MIGHT HAVE THAT HAD A MICROPHONE, reading ALL of his Emails, or MOSTLY LIKELY had spoken to Sessions privately about Sessions' intentions SINCE THEY WERE BOTH BATTING FOR THE SAME TEAM AGAINST TRUMP.
Sessions was the most disappointing of all and I include democrats.
Let’s not overlook a key point. Sessions was not an Obama holdover. Trump appointed Sessions. And I don’t buy the weak argument that Trump was somehow forced to appoint Sessions. To accept that is to accept that Trump was punked by the Deep State. Nope. Not buying that. You don’t punk Patton. And you don’t punk Trump.
I REALLY want to support Trump in 2024. We desperately need MAGA back. It would be nice to see some evidence that Trump has learned from his many appointment mistakes.
The best evidence of that would be to name Flynn as his VP.

I agree with that line of thinking. Maybe not Flynn, but definitely an outsider. And preferably one that breathes fire.
Sessions was a witness in the pending investigation and had no choice but to recuse himself from overseeing it. Sessions respects the law and follows it.
Fire breathers left, right and center, up and down the Executive Branch appointed management hierarchy. No weak sisters waiting with baited breath to go weak-kneed and wilt, like Sessions ended up doing. This has to be made clear, or no bloody appointment. This country needs a damn good housecleaning.

wrong...that was an intelligence investigation, not a criminal one...when he did that, he blew the door wide open for them to do what they did. He was the top guy and could have stopped all of it cold....still incredibly stupid.

And Trump’s enemies could have cared the less about the law. So they rely on useful idiots like Sessions to comply and, in effect, enable.
Funny thing is this, the Durham report, the IG report, testimony in front of Congress all state clearly that from the start, from microsecond one, that there was no collusion or evidence of collusion. So why would Sessions need to revise himself.
That is like saying that I am a witness in you conspiring with talking animals and need to revise myself from the investigation so that we can fairly conduct an investigation into your conspiring with talking animals.
By recusing myself, I am de facto admitting 1) there are talking animals; and 2) you converse with them.
There was not one iota if PROBABLE CAUSE to start investigating Trump. There was just a ridiculous charge.
Revise= recuse. Stupid effing auto-correct.
Disappointing. Lesson learned.
not too mention, ironicly, one the changes that were made following the I.G. report, is that now any investigation of that type, has to have the personal approval of the ATTORNEY GENERAL...Sessions was the main deterrent to this non sense and he blew it.
