What part of that sentence is claiming that Bagshaw is a “member of the US Capitol Police”?
Look at the OP’s comment #1. He mentions Kevin McCarthy and the USCP. He posted the article and he thinks Bagshaw is USCP. The word “Metropolitan” appears exactly ONCE in that article, and it’s in the 18th of 20 paragraphs. So relax with your indignation. It’s a horribly written article, and it wants its readers to think USCP beat this woman, not MPD.
