Exactly. They are nearly perfect for when one side has authority and institutional power and the other side has the will of the people, common sense, and justice. A smile always comes to my mind of Patton shouting (about Rommel) “You magnificent bastard, I read your book!”

I will wait until they finish the second part to make a judgment. They had very little of the Baron at all in the first half, and the focus was definitely on omitting anything extrinsic to keeping the plot moving swiftly.
