I rented a drunk paddle boat once.
Two friends and I made it out to the middle of the lake and then the stupid paddle boat stopped working when we pedaled forward and we had to get back to the dock by pedaling the thing backwards.

Additionally, FYI there is such a thing as a Kennedy paddle boat.
