Thank you for posting this, old-ager, and thank you all for praying for me! Here's what's happening: I was having coughing and shortness of breath for some weeks, so I saw a pulmonologist. They did a biopsy, and I found out earlier this week that the mass in my right lung is indeed cancerous (which is weird, since I've never been a smoker). Yesterday they did an MRI of my brain, and the good news is, they found nothing! ;-) Tomorrow I get a PET scan to see if any cancerous cells have spread elsewhere in my body, and I meet with the oncology team to plan treatment going forward.
But I am baptized, which means that anything that happens to me has to go through my loving heavenly Father. My trust and confidence are in the Lord.
And just to show you that I am not wallowing in doom and gloom, here is a picture of me from the other night, on National Tequila Day, when I made margaritas and my wife made burgers on the grill!
