Damn my favorite Eagle. Rest in Peace Randy, your songs were legendary as was that sweet falsetto. Damn.
“They let you do it!” was how another famous person put it.
Precisely.
RIP Randy. He was the lead vocal on “midnight flier,” on the great “On the border album.” Great talent.
RIP, thank you for the great music.
Mine too. Clearly, he was the best vocalist. And Glen Fry knew it. Randy wrote Take It To The Limit.
I thought he toured with them about a decade ago (2013).
Oh wait, he was invited but already had health issues, so never performed with them. They did remain good friends.

*** Why do so many of these artists seem to have such wretched personal lives?***
Many of them are tortured in their heads, if not directly in their lives. There’s a reason they are creative, and sometimes, it is done to escape. Mind you, not all, but there are a lot of them that use their art as therapy.
I thought Trump said something like that, for which he was persecuted. He didn’t mention Frisbees, but he did say that women threw themselves at men who were rich and/or famous. Truth.
Thank you for teaching them harmonies, Mrs. L.
And yet, that famous person was obliterated for saying the truth out loud.
Always turn up the radio when take it appears to hear his signature vocal on the song. Unbelievable range
I don’t think he’d be bothered by that.
Put me on a highway
Show me a sign
Take it to the limit
One more time
RIP
Probably my favorite Eagles’ song.
RIP, Randy.
Yes and yet another good one if you have time is one Glenn wrote that Randy sang on first album: “Most of us are sad”. I’m not even sure I want to listen to that one tonight I don’t like getting emotional. Cheers!
May God bless his soul.
Thanks for the great music. Esp Take it to the Limit.
Love that song.
Yeah, her death was captured by the in-home security cameras - pretty rough stuff.
Always have that safety on unless ready to shoot...
I’m rather glad I never saw the vid itself.
RIP, and prayers for Meisner’s family and friends.
From Scotts Bluff, Nebraska.
