First reason I think of is when you have more money than you ever expected to have, the average person is going to do as they wish, often to the point of excess or self destruction.
As that entertainer spends a couple of years indulging in making all of his materialist dreams come true, certain areas of life are often ignored or kept on the back burners.
And it’s like Eddie Murphy said, when you’re famous, women throw their Ps at you, like they are Frisbees.
