1. Russia has held Crimea since 2014
2. Russia has seized the ethnic Russian territories of the Ukraine
3. Russia has seized the industrial heartland and the majority of the natural resources of the Ukraine
4. 40% of the entire population of Ukraine has fled the country as refugees -and they probably are not coming back
5. Russia has established air superiority over the bulk of the Ukraine
6. Russia shoots five artillery shells for every one the Ukraine can fire off
7. $200 billion in military aid from America and NATO countries has not made a difference
