So how do we move forward?
Trump and his supporters have been attacking DeSantis since November.
They are the ones who drew first blood.
They seem to gloat that DeSantis may be falling in the polls, but have they considered that Ron’s supporters have just turned off the set?
How will they win without Ron’s supporters?
Conservatives going back to being lied to and betrayed by Republican candidates that put themselves and their donors ahead of the base of the party.
This election is about whether we have an oligarchy or whether we have party that keeps its word and acts in the best interest of its base. I don't trust anyone that doesn't understand that.
As time goes on there will be fewer and fewer DeSantis supporters. Those that are left for the general election will have to follow their conscience or their bile, their choice.
And btw DeSantis started the hostilities. He is passive aggressive so he can pretend he is innocent but those who follow carefully are aware of the truths.
There is not a single other candidate, R or D who would benefit from a DeSantis endorsement or opposition.
Haley has a base... Pence has a base... Christie has a base.
Their endorsement would swing votes in GA, in PA, in other swing states. Of course, Trump has a base...his supporters ARE the base. Unfortunately they are naive amateur fans who don’t understand the game.
The occurs before election day and they were awol. Then, after the game is decided they decided to get involved as players. What amateurs.
